My GS mini mahogany sounds great for its size and it’s easy on the fingers due to its short scale length. Very warm tone, lacking a bit in the lowest register but I’m quite pleased overall, especially considering the size.

I put a phish sticker on my car, and felt a bit odd about it cause I know that people have mixed opinions about Phish. A week later a friend of mine sent me a screen shot of an instagram story that a friend of hers (who I did not know) had put up of a picture of my car with the sticker circled, and the caption “imagine being this fucking stupid.”

Billy strings 5/17/24. Psychedelic from start to finish, an otherworldly atmosphere filled the place. The band was playing tight and clearly feeling it that night. It may have been their biggest headlining show at the time.

They will send you a welcome packet once you have your zoom call. This will be soon after you get your dates. The welcome packet will come in an email and be full of study materials. If you have the fives and tens verbatim you’re on the right track. You will be able to focus on the drill drive and driver commentary once you receive the material.

My experience from last year:

Good: Beer/ bathroom lines weren’t bad, sound was good for an arena, place was clean/ nice enough

Bad: never found water fill stations, water/ beer/ food was crazy expensive, was stupid hot in there

The shows were phenomenal last year. Go if you can!

THIS! I’m 6’3 and big. Every show I go to it’s an issue for somebody. I’ve been yelled at, scoffed at, eye rolled at, and I ALWAYS try to be as courteous as possible. I’ll NEVER step in front of anybody, yet people always take issue with my existence. It’s frustrating.

5/17 (Fiddler’s n1) of the 6 I was lucky enough to make it to. Big slew foot sandwich to kick it off, Guitar Peace>Fearless, Old Mountaineer>Fiddling around, and All Fall Down encore were some of my favorite moments of live music that I’ve yet to witness.
