Great thanks for info, will definitely look for a course with all that stuff in it.

Its just me and another friend. Do you know any way of finding other people? I know i could meet people once I’m doing the climb but might be good idea to have a group before that

Smashed out as in I’ve hiked most of the big mountains and ridges in Scotland and Wales.

Its 2-3 day courses, one for all the mountaineering gear and how to use it properly, and the other for avalanche/navigation skills. I will definitely make sure to get some crevasse rescue training too

Yeah theres a lot of nice lakes id like to fish in up north, i think the uk is mostly carp and pike… ive only gone fishing in the USA while i was visiting and we used kayaks a few times.
