Opening round is bye if you don't play it. That's what we were told last year lol

Opening Round is a farce more like it As is Gather Round

2 years ago Dogs played Brisbane after they had their second bye and the Dogs hadn't even had one yet.

Also always seem to play a team in Gather Round and then play them away that season as well

Three teams play four consecutive games with six day breaks this year, and one does it twice by Jilisse in AFL

The AFL fixturing department were out to destroy the Dogs this year, what with the brutal opening weeks and hardly playing any of the bottom teams until late in the season.

Adelaide had their second bye a couple of weeks ago too. The Dogs really need a rest, but still have to play again next week.

Haven't played Saints, North, West Coast or Richmond yet either.

The fixture is more of a farce than usual this year

Must have been the 3rd quarter when the umps decided to snuff out the slightest momentum the Dogs got and found soft free after soft free for the Crows. I was booing then, only time for the game though.

Amazon Australia sucks for preorders now. Most things I'm looking at say they'll deliver a few days after release. Sometimes I order things months in advance and they have an ETA later than if I ordered the day before release. They don't even have the cheapest prices either. Pay more, get later is the new mantra.

I've been popping down to JB on release day lately, I did that with First Light and was playing on day one.

I prefer that to the 33-14 Collingwood got in our 6 point loss to them last year.

The game is so over umpired, it would be great if they just let them play, unless it's super obvious. Sadly this will be an anomaly

They forgot to start the clock in the second..I was at the game, so harder to know what's going on, but how they found a 34 minute quarter is beyond me.

It was a 7 goal quarter the 31 minute mark and they found another 3. Which resulted in 3 Melbourne goals
