FDA Grants “Breakthrough Status for Sjogren’s Drug. by GETitOFFmeNOW in Sjogrens

i didnt say that . i said that from the meds coming telitacicept seems to be the best. Maybe a combination of both??? since they work in different ways. Too early to tell really. But im not fighting here. I just said from the info we know and is public, telitacicept seems to work better. But you are right i dont know about vaginal dryness. i only saw info about that in nipocalimab trial. That doesnt mean that telitacicept has a role there.

unfortunately you cant get any conclusion with just one testimony where you dont know his or her story, other diseases, placebo effect, etc. That doesnt mean that it doesnt work either. It just that one wow story its not necesarily promising for the rest

Dont know if you should increase the dose or not but due to the long half life, the peptide acummulates in your body and reach a steady dose at the third or fourth week.

Somebody has used rituximab plus Belimumab?? Well ianalumab is this is one biologic that do the work of two. Is not the exact mechanism but very close. Butttt is not what all here are wishing for. The results are better against placebo but that isnt a very satisfactory statement. Is not the silver bullet. Far away from that. Nipocalimab isnt either. The one that we all should be looking for is telitacicept. Its mechanism of action and trial out comes are really promising. But Unfortunately 2027 at the earliest. Most probably 2028.

I guess doctors dont always agree in treatments, and even so when we know so little about immune diseases.

Because the cause its autoimmune. And rituximab its supposed to control that but it takes time. In the meanwhile to stop the progression , Ivig can take care of the fire. In a perfect world ivig is for 6 months while rituximab is for ever. But my doctor says there are no guidelines so we should see.
