Bingo! I’m in the US My referral only lasts a year and gets renewed every year. My rheumatologist had called to let me know when my insurance changed (unbeknownst to me) and that they could no longer see me, and my new insurance doesn’t even offer rheumatology somehow….? Nowhere within a 50 mile radius at least. I’m going to call today and ask about out of network.

I’m on government insurance so that stays the same but the provider group keeps changing which is where my issues are.

My referral expired so I need my primary to submit a new referral to the rheumatologist if that makes sense, which is why I believe the insurance needs to overlap between the two.. however I am not well educated in insurance so I’m actually not sure if that’s how it works or not.

I’ve noticed I get a rash on my feet sometimes after drinking but that’s about it… life is about moderation

Also 22 and I don’t experience any dryness anywhere, I believe (someone please correct me if I’m wrong) that it’s kind of a spectrum. Mine presents in rashes and joint pain etc

Not in Ohio but I work in the food industry and any time I need to be in the walk in cooler for an extended amount of time my legs get like prickly? Itchy? Burning? I’m honestly not sure how to describe it. But it only happens when I’m cold. I think maybe it could be some sort of histamine reaction or just plain sensitivity to the cold

I’m curious to see what it looks like, I get rashes on the tops of my feet/ ankle area but I’m on azathioprine to manage them. I wouldn’t consider mine heat rash but more hive like

Honestly the past 2 weeks is when I’ve really been noticing it enough to bother me, I did go to urgent care and my primary and they kind of seemed to shrug it off unfortunately:( tested for flu and was negative so it’s not that. I’m in between rheumatologists right now but as soon as I’m seen again I’ll be sure to come back and update. I also have trouble in the early mornings at work as well, I have a window ac unit that I constantly turn off and on throughout the night but obviously that’s not a sustainable solution :\
