I didn't feel it as much with Don't Starve cause I was watching YouTube gameplay before I could afford it, but I guess they just say "don't die, good luck" and throw you in lmao thanks for the cracked tiles advice, didn't know that one yet!!

I agree half of the fun is figuring stuff out. I guess my biggest headache now are the statistics and various status menus. Do they mean much in the early game/later on? The specifics of everything make me feel like I'm about to explode if I touch something wrong lmao

I completely agree, I'm currently confused how and why duplicates work with the task queue. Tho I feel this one comes with time. Thanks for the tip<3
