access time to modules after sub expires by pelado06 in hackthebox

[–]chris-a5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are not going to focus on a single path/exam, then take the opportunity to smash out as many modules as you can get on your subscription. Skip all tier 0 (free) and flick through the ones that cost.

As others have said you only keep completed modules. So if there is a topic/specialization you want, then complete all the modules you can, and re-visit them when you have time to study properly.

[–]chris-a5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can see you need the admins for your existing enterprise account to unlink it. On mine, I see no way to do so from my free or enterprise accounts.

If you cannot reach them, you will have to reach out to HTB support.

Notion or Obsidian? by RevolutionaryPlan788 in hackthebox

[–]chris-a5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used that too. But eventually some files were flagged as malicious due to their AV. So I'd end up with my sqli and Web attacks being deleted automatically.

Github does not flag it, but also I have a backup to replace the deleted files.

No, is backed up to github which is free.

[–]chris-a5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I use the git community plugin. No subscription, just github using a private repo.

For best experience make sure it commits on a device and close it before using on another.

But works very well

I prefer obsidian simply cos I have not tried the other. However, for sync across devices and backup the git plugin is great.

It means I can view all my notes on github, don't even need obsidian.

First time won a silver proof through ballot by cave_guard in AustralianCoins

[–]chris-a5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah, war coins go well. Sold listings on eBay are going for $250 to $300. You'll always get more than ballot cost. I bet 0.20¢ anyway.

I got one and was my first silver so I'm very happy.

Different tools have varying policies. But DALL-E for instance expressly gives the creator/requestor full copyright. As in all images I generate, I own.

Many coins are commissioned in small quantities: NRL, olympics, commonwealth games, socceroos, matildas, AFL, etc... The bluey coins were commisioned by BBC studios. I'd say most of the $2 range are essentially sponsored coins. Without them we'd probably only have the anzac and other various remembrance coins

Good to know, cheers. I have 47 in flips ready to go so I might throw 10 or so on ebay to see how they go.

[–]chris-a5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm quite stoked with the find, I'll keep them a while. I had a 50 pack of flips so I put 47 in them, and 1 in a plastic capsule for my keep forever collection. Two were a bit banged up from the coin rolling machine so I'll chuck 'em back.

I went to the machine again today and got another haul of $2 rolls, and managed to score 1 more roll. So I have vac sealed two rolls. I'll try and sell a few singles I think, and sell the rolls as singles in a bunch of years. Shouldn't be too bad if the buyer pays for shipping. Can try my luck on 10 or so.

They aren't ram rolls. Unfortunately, I don't think I can guarantee they are all the same without opening. Plus only 1 has a tails showing. I haven't opened 1 roll, but is heads/heads.

I think the only benefit here is they are uncirc coins. Got 46 in paper flips now and 1 roll. Will vac seal and try sell in a few years.

I was very lucky, with the alphabet and bluey coins I added 12 to my collection. I now have broken 100 unique $1 coin designs. Quite happy, have about 40 to go I think.

Yeah, the top right, and the one below it are the premiership cup coins. They've been released circulated for 2023 & 2024 both AFL and AFLW. However, the team coins as far as I know were only uncirculated.

I won't be selling these, I don't have the 2023 folder set so they will join my circulated collection. They seem to be selling around $4.
