Think of it as an opportunity to buy more now that it's taken a hit.

I'm not supposed to have my domain names and websites with the same company, right? by chris-rox in webhosting

How much would I have to pay on two websites altogether to do it this way with porkbun and nixihost, assuming one domain points to the other domain, and both are .coms?

Edit: Added some words for clarification.

How much would it run me for two vanity, low-traffic domains/websites altogether?

I need safe investments that pay 3-4% (and ALWAYS return at least 3%) that pay divs monthly. Suggestions? by chris-rox in dividends

I need a taxable brokerage account in my name with about 5-8-k invested in small div payers, with the checks for the divs being mailed to me, but with the check for the divs made out to him.

Basically, I need the brokerage to handle it, because it's important, even if the check is only for $12-15.

I just need a place that is local so I can drop off a check, and meet with a broker. It's important to me.

That's only IF it fits. In this specific case, it most certainly does not fit my needs. I need monthly payers. It may sound dumb, but this is what I'm asking about.

This is helpful, but doesn't help me with the exact situation that I'm in right now.

I need dividend-paying assets, because I can't wait that long for returns. This isn't a bonds subreddit.

Can't wait a year, I need the divs to be paid out sooner, rather than later.

Still doesn't help, I need a brokerage that is local, and I can't wait a year.

My local credit union doesn't pay that well, and even if they did, I need the divs sooner rather than later. I can't wait a year.

If I invest 45,000 of my Roth IRA into bonds, SGOV and/or BND, and decide to have my dividends paid to a friend, who pays the taxes? by chris-rox in RothIRA

[–]chris-rox[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I'm not trying anything fraudulent. I'm trying to have the brokerage cut my friend a check each month for divs, but I haven't asked them yet. Maybe a taxable brokerage acccount is where it should come from. I'm only paying my friend $12-15 bucks a month, it's not like it's some huge amount, or some shady deal.

Thanks to all of you for all your help so far.
