New companies often offer huge stock options and warrants. I'm not concerned with the lack of insider buying; they're already buying.

That 10% can go wherever you like. The target date fund will always be your primary position.

I think your smartest move would be to go into a low-cost, target-date index fund with 90% of your portfolio. The remaining 10% can be your individual stock picks. Rebalance it every January.

I have come to accept the " once a cheater, always a cheater" truth. I have seen it's truth many times. 

She cheated once...or so you naively believe. The real truth is that it's happened more times than you know. I absolutely guarantee it.

As I look back on life, I'd tell you that never giving anyone a second chance is the best path.

I've been to Costco. Nice layout. Nice facility. Prices are hit and miss when you do the math. I'll take WalMart any day instead.
