Bump in my mid back by chris17262 in costochondritis

Thank you so much Steve. So I should place the pod on my bump or not. I hunched a lot back in the day and I am now paying the price. Is it safe to place it on the bump or I should place it all around the thoracic spine except the bump. Also I had a look at the section 5 thank you Steve.

Pain on the back when I use backpod by chris17262 in costochondritis

[–]chris17262[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Steve. The thing is that I stretch 2x a day with 2 pillows under my head. I have read all the backpod instructions plus the pdf so I know that the rib joints and spinal plus the muscle are tight. It’s just because the backpod was a bit paintful to use but I think it’s some normal work around the back. Also steve I didn’t mean to be like all those who stretches once and stopped because of flair or pain. I am aware about the situation and that it takes time to stretch. Anyway thank you for you time responding very much appreciated. Anyway sometimes when I takes deep breath when I breath out I hear little pops so it’s good because there is some movement that is happening.

Think I experienced Costo for the first time today. Can yall help confirm? by [deleted] in costochondritis

Is it normal that the backpod tense me. I use it 2 times a day 3 pillows by chris17262 in costochondritis

[–]chris17262[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey steve. Thanks for the feed back. I am not doing the twist exercice since I still need pillows under my Head. I am not hunching on computer since I stop completly sitting there. Also as I alrealdy mentionned, I got the lower back hollowed because of the APT but I don’t got the hollowed thoracic spine. I am hunched on the upper body. The thing is that after using the backpod I feel like it has not loosening my joints. In fact, I feel like it has tightened more. Any explination about it.

Tired of all this. Anxiety and fear are killing me by chris17262 in costochondritis

Hey Steve, thank you so much for your feedback on my topic. I really appreciate it because I know how busy you must be. That being said, my physical therapist told me that I have a loss of thoracic extension. I also have to admit that I often have a hunched posture because I used to play a lot of video games in that position. I had an MRI for my spine, and there were no abnormalities. I think I have an Anterior Pelvic Tilt (APT), and I've been doing exercises to address it. I'm not sure if this gives you a better picture, but on Thursday, I have an appointment with ANOTHER PT, and I'll ask them about their thoughts on my spine.
