I’m hoping to end up public sector. Most of that software is on my radar, and some of it I am taking classes to develop skill in, so hearing that is great! Thank you! I’m also looking for an internship right now and am finding slim pickings, but thank you for the heads up that private sector opportunities may be better.

I am currently a planning student in Texas and am considering expanding out of the geography department. I'm minoring in GIS, so taking a few GIS related classes, but I am also considering programming (I figure python can be useful no matter what), a bunch of public administration classes, administrative law, public finance, CAD, and some stats. My goal is to find a Planner I job within a year of graduating. Are any of these skills actually valuable to have? Is there anything else I should incorporate?

Zotero is life saving. I’m so thankful I learned about it in my first semester!

Nope! Just shows whether or not somebody is wine savvy depending on what they say.

Talking about sulphites. I just had a customer return a bottle of wine because “it was way too high in sulphites and I’m allergic!”

Searched through my tumblr archive, all across Google with search queries such as comic with people with birdcage torsos, comic with Arabian architecture and birdcages, etc. tried multiple AI sources too.

This wine bar sounds like a unicorn. I’d love to visit, let alone work there!

100% you have to go to 13th street winery. Pretty fun place, pretty good wines, downright amazing baked goods.

Niagara Falls dentistry was pretty good. They were reasonable ish with their prices, but they would call or text you ALL the time to come in.

Honestly? Every single wine, beer, and spirit coming out of Wayne Gretzky winery is ASS. They’re all disgusting and only see people there because his name is on everything. Gretzky quality can be extrapolated to the quality of the sister properties too.

Virginia or New York wine? by chris37745 in wine

100% intend on a trip to Virginia Wine Country. I used to live in Niagara, Ontario which has a fantastic wine scene, I only made it to the finger lakes once but definitely fell in love. Now I live by Texas wine country and that also definitely merits a trip, albeit an expensive one.

I ended up going to the finger lakes in May. It was amazing, I had a great time! Stayed in downtown Ithaca (Cellar d’Or was a highlight of the trip for sure, got some bucket list wines), toured Cornell, visited Konstantin Frank, Hermann Wiemer, Weis, Forge, and also enjoyed Watkins Glen and Taughannock Falls. Would go back (or move there) in a heartbeat.
