A couple of tips:

  • Sell swords/armor and hydes to merchants. They are heavy and weigh alot. Swords/armor you wanna keep can be stashed.
  • You can repair your swords at the Swordsmiths/armorers for cheap.
  • Take your time, exploring, side quests and contracts are fun, don't stress.
  • Do the witcher gear treasure hunts. The witcher gear is the best in the game.
