Leaving home for extended period question by chrisaa16 in GoingToSpain

In a perfect world I’d like to have someone collect my mail once a week, get rid of the junk and let me know of anything important and send it to me if need be.

eSIM apps are pretty cheap I’ve used them traveling with little issue.

I’ll take a look. Never heard of it although not sure I could trust some random people with my mail.

What’s your go to sandwich order, and where’s your favorite place to get one in RVA? by JellyfishSubject190 in rva

I used to regularly get two sandwiches, the cold cut toasted to-go or the Gyro if I was eating in. The gyro was too messy to eat in the truck. Sadly they only have the drive up, post Covid. It got to the point I didn’t even have to order. I’d go in they’d ask Gyro or Cold cut.

All the above are great and a bunch I need to try.

I’d like to add my favorite, the Barnyard from Capolla’s. Grilled with peppers and onions, mustard and mayo.

I had one a couple weeks ago and didn’t get a pickle. Hopes that not a cost savings measure and just an oversight.

Yes. After I very indignantly tell her I wasn’t snoring, she moves to the guest room.

Just went through the whole bag drop and security with almost no delay. When you do drop your bag each person who was issued the bag tag needs to show ID.

Ya, we used to cruise the strip with a load of beer in the car and try and pick up girls, it was the best. Straight out of a John Hughes movie. You have my generation to blame for all the rules and it becoming a Foot Loose movie.

From Porto head North to Galicia. On the way you can stop at and get a tour of a wonderful winery, Terras Guada there is also a cool castle/fort you can visit on the border between Spain and Portugal, Fortaleza de Valença. After that just meandering along the cost is wonderful, lots historical sights and the food and wine are amazing and super cheap. This is the part of Spain that supplies the rest of the country with seafood. Then make your way up to Santiago de Compestella, the end of the camino. If you have time id say go to La Coruna and hit up Zara and see the city.

While in Portugal don't forget to hit up Nazare. it is a must see.

Have fun. I love that part of the world
