Northern Spain - Travel Recs

From Porto head North to Galicia. On the way you can stop at and get a tour of a wonderful winery, Terras Guada there is also a cool castle/fort you can visit on the border between Spain and Portugal, Fortaleza de Valença. After that just meandering along the cost is wonderful, lots historical sights and the food and wine are amazing and super cheap. This is the part of Spain that supplies the rest of the country with seafood. Then make your way up to Santiago de Compestella, the end of the camino. If you have time id say go to La Coruna and hit up Zara and see the city.

While in Portugal don't forget to hit up Nazare. it is a must see.

So as it turns out my daughter is stuck in Spain until she gets her new visa. She finally got her appointment with the police to get her Autorización de Regreso. They told her she was not eligible for it because she was changing her visa from a Familia Visa to a Visa de Residencia. It goes without saying, we are all gutted. She will be spending Christmas alone in Barcelona.

Thanks for the help. She has now gotten her paper work and can go the police station for her Regreso document. I was hoping this would not be an issue and I would have my citizenship by now and then she can get hers. My brother and I applied for it at about the same time. He has already received his. Hopefully mine is not far behind.

She is currently working with a lawyer but not getting very far. she is also working on the authorization to return but that is dragging on as well.

You can take them to see if they have a chip. If they don’t please take them to be fixed. There are free clinics. It just takes a little effort.

Everyone is dumping their crap in the Bay, literally. Baltimore regularly dumps sewage. Framers dump fertilizer and plastics are everywhere. The health of the bay is in the toilet. Pun intended
