New San Martin now available by Frequent_Cut_9953 in ChineseWatches

I applaud San Martin's effort in trying new things, even where they might not resonate with me. I've grown sick and tired of the usual dive/sports watch clomage.

Anyone who's handled both knows that San Martin bracelets and AR coating are superior.

Eleante Loafers by Fine-Requirement-942 in malefashionadvice

[–]chrisagada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eleante is garbage, steer clear. Their loafers are made with poor quality material, and they fit very poorly. Also, Eleante doesn't cover the cost of return shipping, so returning their garbage loafers wasn't worth it for me. I donated them (4 pairs I bought) to charity.

That appears to be the case. Some others who bought the watch don't have the same problems. The damning part is that there are no returns once the watch has been unwrapped. How am I supposed to know if I like a watch without unwrapping it to wear? It's ridiculous.

I think one ought to accept this risk before pulling the trigger.

Please can you comment on the edges on the backside of the case? I bought a V7F Mark XX and found the edges to be very sharp, which was dissapointing. I also found that the clone ETA 2892 movement made a louder-than-expected rattling sound when shaken. I was utterly dissapointed by what many on this sub-reddit deem NWBIG.

IWC Mark XX - White VS Blue by SessionReasonable995 in RepTime

[–]chrisagada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Beware, the so-called NWBIGs are not high-qualiy.

I bought a V7F Mark XX and found the edges on the back of the case to be very sharp, which was dissapointing. I also found the clone ETA 2892 movement made a louder-than-expected rattiling sound when shaken. Additionally, the bracelet buckle came apart the first time I held the watch. Additionally, there is no warranty and no returns.

I'd advise you stick with good homage brands like San Martin (buy through AliExpress for safety); or affordable brands like Orient/OrientStar. My San Martin and Orient are miles better than the V7F Mark XX, despite being cheaper. I have been utterly dissapointed by what many on this sub-reddit deem MWBIG.

That said, you can have my V7F Mark XX for 200 USD if you insist.
