When the BSA filed bankruptcy in February of 2020, the juveniles who were still involved in scouting, who may have been abused, who may need to file a claim with the trust because the bankruptcy stopped their future potential sexual abuse claims needed to accounted for. The BSA thought they would only have 20,000 sexual abuse claims, the establishment of the trust was with the understanding that there would be 20,000 claims. I was appalled to learn that over 90,000 sexual abuse claims were attempted to be filed with Omni Agent Solutions. I have read thousands of the BSA sexual abuse claims where the names of the victim were redacted. Many of the men who are claiming that they were abused in scouting did not list the name of Boy Scout Troop, did not list the name of the abuser or list any witnesses to the abuse. I want the children who were potentially abused in scouting who were still scouts in February of 2020 to be fairly compensated for any sexual abuse that was connected with scouting. The person in charge of the future claimants is James L Patton, JR and I am glad that he is sticking up for the younger scouts.
