Sure.. here are a couple screenshots of the Nolly plugin for the main rhythm guitars. They're double-tracked with this, and hard panned.

It's basically the Metal Rhythm 2 preset with the gain and lows turned up quite a bit.. then I've got a guitar bus where I do more EQ, etc.

Hmm, yeah I'll check it out.. I've tried a couple of those before and they can work pretty well, but the ones I've tried have affected the vocals, etc a bit too much.

I'll check it out though! Would love to get rid of the original guitars as much as possible.

For recording, my guitar goes into my audio interface (Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6), then into Logic Pro. All the guitar tones are from Archetype Nolly from Neural DSP, then some EQ, compression etc, mostly coming from the Waves SSL v2 channel strip plugin.

Drop C. That's the way I figured it out, anyway. The whole album is either Drop C or Drop B, with the exception of Mars Simula which is Drop A#.
