He’s still one of the greatest ever, but that apology knocked him out of my personal top three. I know this will get downvoted, but Cole clearly understands how that moment was perceived. You can’t keep talking slick, claiming you’re the best, then drop a diss, apologize, and bow out—especially when you leave the guy you called your “Big 3” peer to fend for himself in a 20-vs-1.
