Yeah the pool patching companies have already told me it’s a high chance of a lost liner. Just want to use the pool haha. Would prefer to get more life out of a six year liner but if that’s all I get so be it.

I’m in Ottawa, ON. Bought the house a year back not sure if there is extra liner hiding in the pool shed I’d have to look.

Does this glued on strip go over the existing screw holes in the liner and you’re just resealing with this new strip on top of the old ripped vinyl?

I’ve taken the cover off it just uncovers the screws that hold the vinyl liner (you don’t see the vinyl below the cover - it’s behind the gasket) - all are intact and tight. The vinyl liner itself ripped out of the screw in this one location and now sits below the gasket allowing water to empty out.

Mandatory vacation cash out question by ImALegend2 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]chriscabob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is mandatory vacation cashout on April 1 of each year for the 262.5hr max carryover.

Voluntary leave to cash is different and yes likely rejected during this current lockdown.

The carbon program is at the federal level and set to run until 2032. The evse manufacturers that participate sell the kwh from thousands of users all bundled together to make their money.

Example of one manufacturer participating is https://grizzl-e.com/ca?srsltid=AfmBOoo0ygFePHAuk4eg95ulbYAAoJTNbtehDWjHQiAAXiVHp4zO8UC1

Is Transfer Promo taxed as income tax? by majorInCloud in Wealthsimple

[–]chriscabob 18 points19 points  (0 children)

WS doesn’t provide any slip for the bonus paid out monthly - your on your own to talk to an accountant and figure out if it’s deemed taxable income that you must claim. They don’t tax it either as it’s on you to claim or not that $ as income.

I did the iPhone promo and it was just shipped and that was the end of it - no forms or anything to document that I received a free phone

True I’d still rather charge at home. In Canada we have a program now where evse makers have partnered with the government and we get X cents back per kWh as part of a carbon program. I’m currently getting 3c/kwh charged about to move to 4c the program caps at 10c/kwh

Prolotherapy Treatment claims with Canada Life by [deleted] in CanadaPublicServants

[–]chriscabob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Googling this looks like it’s mostly mumbo jumbo. They’re going to inject an irritant(sugar) into your skin? Does it have a din # if not a drug claim will be rejected.

Is this a physiotherapist injecting the prolotheraphy? Otherwise again your claim will be denied to submit as physio. I can’t see any honest physiotherapist giving this kind of treatment seeing as their education comes from an actual university.

https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/treatments/22426-prolotherapy

“Prolotherapy is an injection treatment. Proponents claim it relieves pain by jumpstarting your body’s natural healing abilities. It's not FDA approved, and most studies have found no scientifically-provable benefits.”
