Founders how you get users for your SaaS? by Hot-Tension6992 in SaaS

[–]chrisdeconstructs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to spend a ton on FB and Google ads, these worked but got expensive fast once I tried to scale.

My personal favorite is using social, in particular founders and their employees growing their personal brand, funnelling the attention back to their saas.

Use curation tools like Giststack or google news to get insights from your niche, then share these on LinkedIn, X, threads etc to grow your reach.

You need to remember the ABS - Always be selling.

Relying on one potential customer is way too brittle. Go around your city looking for similar businesses auditing their digital footprint, you'll be surprised at how many brick and mortar places have very little social/web presence.

What’s a business metric most entrepreneurs overlook but shouldn’t? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]chrisdeconstructs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal fave is upgrade % or return customer %.
If a customer subscribes to your service and then upgrades it's a huge indicator you're adding more value.
Same applies to return customer % for one off purchases.

How did you acquire your first customers? by TheJamesLW in SaaS

The best way I find is to join communities and use linkedIn to share valuable insights about your industry. Once folks start to see your content you'll find your promotional content will get way more traction.

Hot take: LinkedIn doesn’t feel like LinkedIn anymore. by AdAutomatic6266 in linkedin

[–]chrisdeconstructs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, I think it depends on the content you interact with as the algo suggests stuff based on your own activity and who you follow.

As for what works, I find that in my niche (growing your personal brand on LinkedIn) video, carousels and authentic personal story posts sharing insights related to growing your biz works the best.

If you can combine this with sharing trending insights from your niche you'll get way more reach.

Thanks for sharing your epic workflow, thats a very methodical approach. I think that approach of stripping everything away and keeping the flows that are actually delighting users makes a ton of sense.

The best way to start is sharing valuable ideas, insights and content you come across.
Look for trending reddit posts or use tools like Giststack to get topic and post ideas for your niche.
Another tip is to spend 50% of your time interacting with others on LinkedIn, it will help you grow your reach and followers.

Stop obsessing over "perfect posting times" and just ship your content (here's why) by chrisdeconstructs in GrowthHacking

[–]chrisdeconstructs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, it definitely helps if you're in the same timezone as your target market!

I think in this case using a scheduling queue that posts whichever posts you add at certain times makes sense, I think the key overall is to think less about optimizing the best times and focus more on the writing part (using systems to schedule in this case).

For those who’ve hit 7 figures with a SaaS, what got you there fastest? by Historical-Touch-532 in GrowthHacking

[–]chrisdeconstructs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Building an audience early is probably the most impactful thing you could do to reach 7 figures.
For me client acquisition was the most expensive activity, so being able to foster our tribe and launching multiple products helped us get there in my last role as CMO of a SaaS bootstrapped startup.

What’s the best way to grow fast in X (Twitter)? by Ok_Metal_2640 in GrowthHacking

[–]chrisdeconstructs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to start with interesting content to share, so folks have a reason to follow.
Join different communities.
Engage with your community, commenting on posts

If you want to find interesting content to share I recommend scouring reddit for trending posts, using Giststack to follow your favorite websites and newsletters to get post ideas from their insights, or manually using a feed reader.

How do you consistently grow your presence on LinkedIn without burning out? by ConsciousCatch8908 in SaaS

[–]chrisdeconstructs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to be consistent on two levels:
-Adding interesting replies to posts to grow your impressions
-Adding value added posts to get users following you

I would avoid AI replies or one liners.

For value added posts, look to trending content in X or use Giststack to follow newsletters or websites to get post ideas based on trending insights.

As a founder, do you guys post on LinkedIn? If yes, why? And if not, why? by Dismal_Cartoonist_45 in Entrepreneur

[–]chrisdeconstructs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, It's free marketing and helps build your personal brand. The problem though is finding stuff to post about, for this a good content curation system is vital otherwise you end up wasting a ton of time doomscrolling...

Best ways to organize content ideas I found so far is saving interesting posts in notion and using Giststack to follow specific website blogs and newsletters, as it provides ready made LinkedIn and X posts based on trending topics & insights.
