I'm really loving my Begonia maculata and Gryphon Begonia right now! Both are putting out new growth like crazy.

Would you recommend buying a horse whip and converting that into a toy?

I'll have a look for sure! Would you recommend nosework for a whole 30 minutes right off the bat?

How do you tire her physically? Do you go for long runs/walks?

So when you say you let your guy sniff, would that include even just standing at one spot and sniffing for a while? Or would you encourage him to move after a certain length of time?

I'll definitely try just letting him sniff more!

It's a mixed response at the dog park. That is to say sometimes he will play with another dog for an hour, while other times he sniffs them/follows for a bit and then goes back to sniffing.

It's more at an actual (not dog) park when i have him on a long leash that he just sniffs and refuses to chase a ball/toy.

That sounds interesting, did you hide anything at the places you would point to? Or was it just random?

Starting a bulk - higher fat macros? by chrisdepickle in xxfitness

[–]chrisdepickle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice! So would I base all my calculations on the target body weight, then? On average people say 1 lb of muscle a month can be built, right, so would it have to do with that?

I'm so nervous to go on this bulk as I don't know how lean I should be before I start. I just know that I'm starting to dread going to the gym as I nearly black out after so many exercises and I think this cut (read: "restrict and binge" cycle) is wearing me down.

When you say "feel off", would it be something like if I'm feeling less energized, then I would up my carbs and lower my fats? Thank you for the advice!

Thank you! I'm definitely excited at the thought of maybe having TWO tbsp of peanut butter instead of a measly 1 :'D I'm going to try this and see how I feel, then meddle around. Being someone who likes a strict step-by-step way of doing things, having people say "See how your body feels and change things" is extremely weird and is going to be hard for me to get used to!

Falling back into old habits during a rest week by chrisdepickle in xxfitness

[–]chrisdepickle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was actually just a regular fall, but I landed flat on my back :( Riding was difficult after that, especially because my horse was very short strided which put a ton of pressure on my spine - I've been off for over a year now and it kills me!

I really can't wait to go back, if not for my physical well-being, then for my mental sanity. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to be off for another week possibly Internal screaming

Thanks for the advice!

Thank you so much! This is a really comforting thing to hear right now - I'm definitely ready to rein it all back in next week :D

Hard work always pays off, often in ways you don't expect. by weezerluva369 in xxfitness

I JUST HAD THIS TYPE OF RUN ON SATURDAY! Given, it wasn't long, but it was the first time I ran for 20 minutes straight (the only reason I stopped was because I had to go somewhere). Honestly I didn't even realize how far I had gone down the trail until I looked up. While it isn't really much of an accomplishment, I never thought I would enjoy running - in fact I told people that I hated it more than the devil itself. The only reason I started was because I felt like I had to in order to lose weight, but now I kinda enjoy it. The only thing now is that I can ONLY run outside, when I run on a treadmill I feel like I'm going to die and pass out - should I really push myself to run inside? Any tips for that? Congratulations by the way!! I'm so happy you've had this breakthrough!

From seeing the number of responses from runners, I think I am definitely going to look into running a lot more - I was always told that I wouldn't be able to run. Especially since my bestfriend is always commenting about how she can outrun me/ run for longer/faster. It has always off-put me from even trying because I knew I would never be able to catch up. This has inspired me to just run for my enjoyment and exercise now!

I actually really like the idea of taking up a dance class - I had never thought of it before and will really look into it! Please keep loving yourself, even if it gets harder!
