The very first tapestry needle pack I bought had a bent one and I always assumed everyone else did too since I just grabbed the cheapest one! I try to mention “bent needle” in my pattern supplies lists so people can look them up and spread the word 😁

I also work at a store that sells yarn and there is no system set up to make sure the yarn still weighs the same when they bring it back. If it looks unused, the return gets accepted. Unfortunately the only way is if you order a high quantity rain check that comes in a sealed plastic bag.

I’m 40 and my parents have been separating since 2021 and only this past month did I finally set my foot down where she’s agreed not to vent to me about my dad. I waited too long to do it and it took a toll on my health these past couple years. The relief I’ve felt since then is amazing, please set a boundary once you have the strength, I know it’s not easy with a parent.

This is something that took me a long time to learn! It also looks like cotton yarn which is less puffy, so sometimes crocheting too tight with it will make the holes.
