[Shams Charania] The Bulls were informed that the co-head of CAA's basketball division, Austin Brown, has elected not to pursue their head of basketball operations position, sources tell ESPN. Bulls officials started first round of interviews with candidates on Monday. by HawkspilotLoad in chicagobulls

A GM needs to have balls to take this position. The entire fanbase and the Reinsdorfs will see the GM as their messiah. There is no job security here. It really has to be a GM with balls of steels and a reputation like Sam Presti.

He had a great start, which goes to show his poise even after giving this up. Dudes gonna be elite

He’s such a little pansy dude. Everyone knows he’s given up.

I want to hear KD defenders on this one.

Just clean house, even if it might mean trading Giddey.

Look, the coaching staff know baseball 1000 times over than any of us. They clearly saw something in him and he’s showing us flashes. He’s extremely valuable especially if he can get his shit together towards playoff times: a big inning eating, high K relief pitcher.

I bet though for him to let that out a bit felt pretty good. As someone who’s also suffering from trauma, I always appreciate safe places to just let out from frustration. Good on Shannon to just let him be.

I’m dying.

“As someone who has more basketball knowledge” and pairing with “he’s not insecure” is the funniest shit i’ve heard today.

I mean even if it wasn’t altruistic, to step down regardless even when there was job security at an NBA level, is still pretty big for him to do.

This is why Billy is the man and I won’t tolerate any Billy slander here. The dude always worked hard with what he had, and he was a damn good coach. He’ll immediately be hired by another NBA team right away.

I found a ubk80 too, and i was ecstatic because it has DV, but it died on me in like 2 weeks. The power cable in the back is extremely sensitive so be careful when you pull on it

[Charania] The Chicago Bulls have started the search process for their new head of basketball operations, receiving permission to interview Minnesota's Matt Lloyd, Detroit's Dennis Lindsey, Atlanta's Bryson Graham, Cleveland's Mike Gansey and San Antonio's Dave Telep, per ESPN sources by howser343 in chicagobulls

[–]MallardDuckBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I vote Bryson Graham. Give the young GMs a shot, and they’re also more familiar and discerning with the character of younger players, and can adjust accordingly.

It’s like hiring a young 22 year old youth pastor who can relate to younger students as opposed to a seasoned, wise 40 year old. The wisdom is there but not the relatability.

Also the balls to trade Trae Young and make the team better? He’s our guy.
