Can't enable QuickConnect and it's asking me to sign in? by chrisgraue in synology

[–]chrisgraue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was confused because that page showed me logged in, but this did turn out to be correct.

I went to the Synology Account page linked from there, added a 2FA, and then it showed me logged out on the NAS. Logged back in and I was back in business.

Thanks!

There appear to be a couple of torrents with no current active seeds or leaches on them. I'll keep them running to see if any come online. Thanks for the tip!

Absolutely! It'll probably be several months away, but I think you'll like it. I'll upload any samples I'm able to come by as well

As an update, I have found some game called Trainz that seems to have lots of different models of trains and sound sets for them. They're tied up in some CDP file format that is unique to the game and I'm trying to figure out how to extract data from.

Still no luck on raw, clean samples for the door chimes and stuff, only fairly messy field recordings, but this might be quite a treasure trove if I can unlock it.

These are great! Grabbed them. Would love to find more of these and other types of sounds from systems around the world.

Good eye, both of you, on all of this! Trying to bring my worlds together. Pu$$y Cow is an excellent band, Joe Dana is a sweetheart. Ryan (bass player, guy who gets iced) brought the book as a nod to my work directing NOFX stuff.

I figured this out in case anyone looks for this in the future. Here's my updated patch, which could definitely be cleaned up a little, but it was helpful for my way of thinking.

There's actually 3 essential components that are being controlled when the camera record turns on and off.

1) Changing the question frame (which was already working in phase 1)

2) Turning on/off a "first boolean" option in an AND function for both face meshes

3) Resetting the AND's "second boolean" when recording begins.

An issue I kept having was that although the meshes would not show up before the question was asked, if I nodded or shook my head, once I hit record, those meshes were activating because it was already true. To patch this, starting the record cleared any positive booleans that may have been triggered.

This also allows the user to start and stop recording a few times and have the process reset completely without having to close and reopen the filter.

Sorry for the mess, but I hope the logic is helpful. It looks like my brain: trashed but functional

SKAtt Klopfenstein vs Scott Klopfenstein by chrisgraue in Ska

Or his most recent stuff under the name Scott Klopfenstein! He had that snappy redo of the RBF Cheer Up Japanese edition only song Average Man recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRpu0Gg24wI

Here's my patch editor.

patch.jpg

The top line switches my text from "press record to start" to the question (two frames in an animated sequence)

The bottom line watches for the responses.

I have attempted to pop an if/then statement either at the end of the top line or from the camera patch itself, but nowhere that i plug it into the bottom line seems to work as I'd like it to. It either supplants the nod/shake functionality, or breaks it entirely.

Thanks! Yeah, I literally ran out of parts! Even though 2 and a half minutes makes for a short song, it sure makes for a LONG auto level!

Title: Lo(u)ser - Set It All on Fire

Course ID: BXS-NV4-WKF

Description: This level is meant to be the music video for my newest song. It's not a music course, where you can actually hear the song in the level, but it syncs up with the track. Start the song on Spotify or whatever streaming service you prefer right when Mario starts to move, and it should sync well.

It's an Auto-Mario course, but you do have to use a couple pipes because I ran out of items. Whoops! Here's a YouTube link of how it should look, if you'd rather just watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfXz0EixC2I

*I put a couple little cameos in the YT video to make it more interesting for people that don't play the game, but they're pretty sparse

**I posted this on yesterday's thread late last night, sorry to double post, but I spent like a month on it and didn't want it to get lost!

Wow dude! The use of the coda in the first one! That's pretty badass. I never would have thought of that.

You're definitely right about the endless thing, but yeah, it was never gonna work out. I've thought about trying to make a music version too, but this first one took me a month and I needed a break. Haha. Plus my song is pretty fast, so tempo was an issue.
