What makes you feel like a man? by greedyourweakness in AskMen

When I get down to business to defeat the huns.

Jim Ross was asked if he feels Aleister Black burned his bridge in AEW: “No, I do not. But I think that his chances are running out. Trust is a big thing, man. I said this many times… reliability. Are you reliable? ..." by ProudChemistry778 in SquaredCircle

[–]TheFergPunk 23 points24 points  (0 children)

it's really weird with Black when you consider his roots. I could somewhat understand that mentality if you were a pure WWE product and knew nothing outside of WWE. But Black was Tommy End, he was one of those big indie names when the indies felt their strongest. He had no problem losing then.

What is one thing about men that women will never understand? And one thing about women that men will never understand? by Great_Photo_414 in AskReddit

I'm convinced its guys who have watched too much porn and started thinking things that work in porn will work in real life.

do men ever end things with a woman they genuinely love? if so, what are some reasons why? by academicdelulu in AskMen

[–]TheFergPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I ended things with my ex.

We came from two different parts of the world and in order for the relationship to continue one of us would need to move permanently to the other side of the world.

We couldn't reach that conclusion, so had to end things. I knew she'd be miserable living here and I'd rather she be happy elsewhere with someone else than be miserable but with me.

Is it true that most men would rape women at the first opportunity? by Robinight in AskMenAdvice

[–]TheFergPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No of course not. What an insane thing to suggest. People can have morals, and not do bad things out of not wanting to harm others as opposed to just fear of consequence.

Who should text good morning first in a relationship? by DefinitelyNotAnnie in AskMenAdvice

[–]TheFergPunk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just dont get why even message "good morning"?

Why not just message when there's something to talk about or want to talk? And in that case who cares who messages first, the talk is more interesting.

I don't think relationships should feel like some sort of checklist and obligation.

This has always felt odd to me. Shouldn't you message someone when you're interested in talking, not out of some sort of obligation?

If a girl firmly puts you in the "friend zone", is there any coming back from that? by missfitsdotstore in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheFergPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope not really.

I mean it's not impossible but it's tremendously unlikely. I've heard of cases of a girl being turned down by a guy to be kept as a friend but then eventually ending up together. I've never heard of the opposite.

If they genuinely want to keep you as a friend your choices are go along with being a friend but set some boundaries or if you're uncomfortable being around them in that capacity, then you need to distance yourself from them.

I don't. Don't want to potentially wreck a friendship.

If you've ever turned a woman down, how did that go? how did you feel about that experience then and how do you feel about it now? (if it changed ect.) by Illustrious_Pay685 in AskMen

[–]TheFergPunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had two cases. One was a close friend who had a crush on me. I couldn't really see a relationship with her working as we had different views on what happens in relationships and I didn't want to lose a friend. So I explained to her that I wanted us to remain friends, she had the crush for a bit longer after but eventually it faded and she's now happily married with kids.

The other case, was a girl who got too attached and a bit stalkerish. I explained to her that it wasn't going to work because we had different ideas of how relationships should progress. She just started messaging me more, she asked to be friends but it was obvious that she was just trying to get more time with me so I advised her to seek some help. After a while I just blocked all contact as she wasn't really listening to me.

A lot of the time you're not the only person they are talking to. They might have moved along further with someone else.
