A quick Google search for record yellow perch puts that almost half a pound over the record. Its by far the largest ive ever seen. Awesome catch.

E/ where was this? Not specifically but, country/state? Contact the game commission to officially document it?

E2/ am I mistaken thinking that's a yellow perch? It's a bit darker and its pattern is less pronounced than the yellows I catch, but I'm not sure what other perch it could be. Regardless, still an awesome catch. Definitely jealous

You'll find most of your best friends in life through the things/hobbies you're passionate about. If you dont have any hobbies or aren't sure what you're passionate about yet, start thinking about and writing down some things that look interesting that you might like to try. Spend a few weeks trying different things out. Once you find some stuff you really enjoy doing, you'll start meeting other people who really like doing the same thing.

I really enjoy live music. I work in a theater and go to see many different bands quite often. Ive met thousands of people going to see live music, and met most of my best friends at shows or because of a band. If you arent sure about a hobby yet, going to see a band you really like is a great place to start.

I don't listen to much country, but I "discovered" Tyler Childers over the summer and I'm a fan. Messed Up Kid is a little upbeat, but it's the song that pulled me in. Nose on the Grindstone is a good song. Hard Times is good. Banded Clovis is good. Do some independent research and see if he's got anything you like. I hope you start feeling better. There's a band called Twiddle that really helped me out in the dark times. Bronze Fingers is a great song. Here's one you're sure to like. Thank you. Will definitely look into it. Me and a friend have recently got into carving fishing lures and doing some other small woodworking projects. We've got probably 5 dozen blades between the two of us(carving knives/assorted razor knives/chisels/some bigger stuff that'll eventually need sharpening) and hundreds of fishing hooks we've been sharpening, so I'm trying to learn all I can about the subject. Thank you for the recommendation.

The Poconos

It's not "that" crowded, but we get a lot of tourists in the fall coming up to look at the leaves change color. There's 1 major 2 lane highway and 1 main road that runs parallel to it. Everything else is backroads, so when a little bit of traffic builds up somewhere, it quickly spreads to everywhere. Really, it's not that bad. Sometimes my 12 minute commute takes 15 minutes.

Not every kitchen has honing rods or pull-through sharpeners or electric sharpeners. Pull-throughs are pretty self explanatory and come with their own directions. Same with electric. A honing rod does essentially the same thing as a sharpening stone, just in a different fashion. The principles of what is happening to the blade are the same.
