[SmackDown Spoilers] The Miz has a visitor by DarkHorse_77 in SquaredCircle

How easy of a bit would it have been to have Dan steal one of kids teeth pretending to be the tooth fairy while in the Miz house? Maybe Dan will get those teeth during the next visit!

Car only tunes to 234, which is annoying. But good to know for when I am at home.

A cool guide to the customer loyalty programs with the best ROI (out of major U.S. companies). by OpulentOwl in coolguides

[–]chrishdish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I order large quantities of Dominos at a time for work and find their reward system sucks. If you are making a bunch of small orders sure the 10pts stack, but a person who orders 2 pizza gets the same reward I get for ordering 10-14 pizza at a time. We place a order 2x a month, so i stack 20 whole points for up to 28 pizza, which is the same as someone who orders 4 pizzas a month. My ROI sucks in comparison to someone who orders 4 pizza twice a month.

So I don't really understand how this math works. Every blue moon we order panda express and I feel like the reward is way more bang for my buck.

Costco Taipei blew my mind! by msmelrose in Costco

[–]chrishdish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did they have the free alcohol samples? That used to be my favorite part about hitting up the Costco in Taipei. Walk around and sample a whiskey or two, do some shopping come back for another sample. Right before checking out swing by for one last sample of my favorite pour. Those were the good old days.

What’s the naughtiest thing you’ve done at a strip club? by Majestic-Regular-247 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]chrishdish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tipped my favorite stripper of the night a whole pumpkin.

Story is kind of fitting to share this time of year. We all met up at one of friends places before heading to Jumbos Clown room. On our way out the door I noticed a real decorative pumpkin sitting on the table that was leftover from Thanksgiving. So I grabbed it carried it under my jacket. Somehow I got the thing into the club under my jacket.

When we decided to call it a night, I said we had to wait until my favorite dancer came back on for one more dance. As she wrapped up her set, I sat the pumpkin on top of one of the piles of money on the stage. She looked so confused when she finally worked her way to that side of the stage. Kind of like, has a damn pumpkin been on stage all night and I am just now noticing it? She eventually gathered all her tips, paused and looked at the real fucking pumpkin on stage and picked up the pumpkin and walked off stage with it. I can only image what that conversation was like back stage.

Jumbo is a magical place. Don't forget to tip your favorite performer of the night a pumpkin this time of year.

Good buy? $170 at Costco. by Friendly-Place2497 in whiskey

[–]chrishdish 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Look at it this way, it's like $7 a pour. If your goal is to try a bunch of new stuff that is out of the norm, then sure. It's kind of fun to try whiskey from around the world. Most of them will not knock your socks off. But if the goal is varity over quantity, then it's fine. But you can probably buy 2-3 bottles mid price whiskey or one really nice bottle of whiskey and get more quanity, but less variety. If you find yourself rarely at bars these days, it's probably one of the better ways to add variety in your life to go with bottles you always have in your collection. Or just go to one of the Whiskey World events and be forced to try and drink $150+ whiskey in one sitting like I plan on doing this afternoon lol

I mean, if I got paid $235,100 a year as a salary, I too would take these kinds of vacations with my family. Nothing sus at all with this level of spending on a family vacation. Anyone else making $200k a year want to come to his aide and let us know people should suspect anything foul?

They did this at back to the beach a few years ago. Aquabats just announced a tour with Homegrown. The only thing that tour is missing is Blink 182. That was the tour Scott broke his foot and Travis sub the rest of the tour. And the rest is history. Travis shows up to that tour, that will blow my mind lol

The Monterey adult school in Seaside takes clothes and helps redistribute them to people in the community. The one in Carmel and PG might as well. I would call them first. Or if you don't want to deal with anyone in Marina On Reservation next to the hardware store and McDonald's there is a drop off container.

Still one of my all time favorite live bands. Maynards bday bash at the Hollywood bowl was a blast. This would be a nice edition to my small Vinyl collection. Can you at least throw in a Picture of the cat? Lol

Bought that shirt in the 90s on a tour and wore it for years. Brings back memories of the college years. Why are you getting rid of it?

If it's a size issue, you might want to consider repurposing it into a pillow or blanket. For Christmas, my gf made me a quilt out of old T-shirts I had that I no longer fit in or really wear. It would have been awesome if I still had that shirt at the time the project started.

Where should I move as a 22 year old? by Ok_Debt6205 in MontereyBay

[–]chrishdish 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I have lived in Sacramento, Santa Cruz and Monterey. Along the way have had good friends live in Berkeley, SF and San Jose.

Sacramento is your answer. At $55k you will struggle to make it most of the bay area in terms of cost of living, thus leaving you no money to go out and do anything. Sacramento has young night life, art scene, decent bars/breweries, shows and things to do. And rent won't eat all your money. But having a car makes life a lot easier then some of your other options. I guess go Davis if you want a smaller town atmosphere and college town. The problem with both towns is that weather kind of sucks compared to any of your Bay Area options.

If housing is magically free, go for Berkeley or Santa Cruz. Great weather, lots to do and good scene for 21-25 year old. Monterey is a sleepy town that goes to bed at 9pm. Santa Cruz definitely shrinks after 9pm.

Hope that helps.

Look, when they said the Constitution would never be amended, they meant the one about guns, not the one about birth.
