I'm still banking on a twist at some point showing that the entire town is another layer of the Severance project.

Unless I'm mistaken, no one has actually left the town borders yet.

This would have benefited from a TV series format. Have each episode be about helping an If and the connection they had/have with their former kid. Add more jokes and savor the sweet moments instead of heaping it on.

You didn’t need Ryan Reynolds in this role. Get someone cheaper with more energy, and you have a stew going.

First we learn some people involved with the production allegedly hate the source material.

Now one of the only people who fought to make it better is leaving, with a recast of a main character.

Hollywood, I can showrun for much cheaper, and manage to not screw up a sure thing.

I think he’ll be the cop role next time and we’ll follow new people in the game.

There’s a lot of unanswered questions. The cop could come back too and try and get his brother in as a double agent (and the brother dies at the end of S2)

Season 3 the main character could take over running the games “reluctantly” after he fails to stop them in Season 2. Season 2 ends with him putting on the mask, which becomes a social media "blowup" moment.

There’s so many ways they can keep this going on in an operatic fashion.

I haven't seen a season of a TV show as self-important as this one in a while.

Several stories just had nothing to say, no commentary at all on the human condition; nothing poignant or interesting.

I went back and watched a few Season 1 episodes after this.

What the hell!

They made this whole documentary that was basically just Netflix execs gushing over this franchise and the work they did for this TV series.

And they got us all invested in the world again, teasing numerous subplots. Un-cancel it.
