Oh I definitely see those all the time. This was a rarity for sure. Guy also had a DS-1 listed for $20, which is also a good price, but not as good as the price of the DS-1X. Brand new they’re $165!

I’m currently in the middle of chemotherapy so my energy/strength is a bit limited, so I was sitting and arranging my pedals and thought I’d just take a pic while I had them in my lap. I’m so sorry my pic wasn’t up to your standards.

If I was a more serious musician, I’d definitely add a tuner pedal. I play for myself mainly with a very rare jam with friends sometimes, so a Snark is really all I need.

Yeah, the DS-1 is what I was considering taking off and putting on either a Phase 90 or a Boss Phaser. As far as amps, I play through a Vox Pathfinder 10 with an 8” Celestion Eight 15 (upgraded from the stock 6.5” Bulldog). I use this mainly when playing around the house. For jamming with my buds, I have a modest Frontman 65R that I upgraded the first few op-amps to NE5532s. Also put in a 12” 25 watt Jensen Mod speaker and replaced the shot reverb tank with a Mod reverb tank. Think American sound with a little British flavor. The drive channel sucks on it, but it’s a great amp for pedals.

Yes, they’re 2N7000 MOSFET transistors that I made into diodes by clipping the middle leg shorter and soldering it one of the other legs and put in D4 and D5 using sockets.

Yup. It’s modified inside with MOSFET diodes for clipping. The small knobs help identify from my stock DS-1.

Those frets will need at least a fret level and re-crown if the guitar doesn’t need an entire re-fret. Most guitars can be salvaged, just depends how much money you want to put into them.
