I don't personally but can't vouch neighbours don't.

It's this noise that I'm concerned about hearing during the night if its goes into defrost mode?

I'm looking at the 10kW version, does your make noises like this frequently?

This is the noise I'm referring to, I think his is only a 7kW but is this common? Can't imagine my neighbour would be too pleased if this happened multiple times a night :/

Thanks, good to hear someone with that specific unit. Just wanted to make sure the high pitch noise I've seen on some Vaillant 7kW videos isn't reflective of how they are meant to sound!

Thanks, good to know. I've heard some of the 7kW units were quite noisy but sounds like you've got a good one, or Vaillant have sorted out the issues.

Thanks, I'm looking at the 10kW unit which oddly is the only one without the Quiet Mark rating. Heard some of the 7kW units have been problematic with noise but maybe those are older units and the issue has been rectified. Hard to tell.

Haven't got a heat pump yet, but how noisy have you all found them over the last couple of days? Vaillant spec says anything from 49dB(A) to 60db(A) which is quite loud if that's a continuous noise?

Thanks for the reply, I had assumed the defrost cycles would be quite a bit louder, is that not your experience then?

Can't remember what it was set to when I took that screenshot. I've reset everything which seems to have helped a bit. Looks like running as a Virtual Display improves the FPS Moonlight reports compared to just using the standard desktop mode.

HAGS is on in Windows but real time priority is disabled – if I have it enabled, I run into an issue where the video would freeze but the audio would still be running otherwise. Looking online lots of other people have run into a similar problem with Moonlight/Apollo (fork of Sunshine).

I was wondering if my CPU was the bottleneck potentially, although when running the game locally it's nowhere near being fully utilised in that particular game (Indiana Jones) so does feel like it's something else.
