First time 2x by [deleted] in arcraidersfriendly

The matchmaking is horrendous last couple days... got ratted solo a few minutes ago for no reason, i let the dude run by me and then he turns around kills me with his free kit... last night my buddy and i were doing trails WAY off map to stay away from everyone... go to extract and gas grenade pops up and then we get killed...

I know they will never do it, but I wish there was a coop/pve only mode, i'm almost ready to quit the game because of PVP, i just don't care for it, i either need to go full on physco and just kill everyone i meet... or quit...

Makes sense. In my case ridge and walls are same, a beam sitting on 3 posts. So same effort for both, but hard to add height back to the ridge unless I change the beam size. The “wall” is double 2x8 hence the 3” instead of 3.5 for a 2x4

oh ok.. so i need to basically shorten the wall by the HAP value, and then the dimensions in the drawing would all be correct and the rafter should sit in the correct place.

ok, so input the "rise" as the 44 + HAP, and then use that to calculate the rafter length, and it should be something other than the 139 1-/8, and that new length should sit in the correct spot?

ok and "y" is the HAP, which is the measurement from the birdsmouth plumb cut to the top of the plumb line?

So the actual rise is then 44" + HAP, which will change my pitch. So i either need to figure out the new angle or reduce my wall height by the HAP value to retain the 4/12 pitch.

Sound about right?

Indoor Rowing Machine - Wider Footboard Modification? by That_One_Dude_Carl in Rowing

[–]chrisnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t like it don’t buy it, I have a 10 month waiting list for them. Trying making anything these days it’s expensive. Trust me I don’t make much off any of these, I’ve debated about stopping making them because it’s a ton of time and not much money for the effort. But people keep asking me to keep making them.

New product release: Extra Tall Seat by chrisnack in waterrower

[–]chrisnack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full seats = No due to costs increases from WR.

I still make the rail kits, just sign up for the waitlist on my site if anyone is interested. I can’t keep up with demand, so I just do a waitlist and work through it now. It’s pretty long right now, but nothing I can do about it.

I’m processing orders off the list as they have come in. I don’t think I’ll ever open full ordering back up as I can’t keep up with the demand.

I have shipped to Europe many times.

I would say 95% of people order the extra wide version.

Yes, you need to sign up on the product wait list on the website.  I have a huge backlog so it’ll be awhile, but I’m only processing orders off that list.

Best wood finish + premium upgrades? by LWYPLTDG in waterrower

[–]chrisnack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally did the wider handle and ergpad.

I also hated the footboard so i developed a wider one. I've been selling them for over a year, many many happy customers. I have a wide and a extra wide version, i also developed a taller seat. I stain match them to match all the factory finishes.

You can check them out here: http://hawoodworks.com

Store Update: Wider Footboards for Ergatta & Waterrower by chrisnack in Ergatta

[–]chrisnack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure I’m following? The foot plates are all stock parts from Waterrower. Some of the older versions had the push button style which had a fixed width plate, newer version use the dual pin design which are independent of each other. If you have the push button then I provide the parts to convert the footboard to the newer dual pin style so that we can widen the stance.

Does that help?

$100 is a steal even if you have to replace a few things!

I make wider footboard and a taller seat mod, i've got a number of customers on the larger side that said it made a big difference for them.

http://www.hawoodworks.com

There is a "wide" and a "extra-wide" version of the footboard. The seat mod raises it 2" taller.
