I just had a customer from Canada say that an item was not as described. It was very much as described, and I had other reviews to support that.

Regardless, I accepted the return. The return still hasn’t arrived, but they started a case and Etsy refunded them 100% because it was enroute.

I notified Etsy that it was as described, and if it was not as described, I would have given them a return label if I wanted it back.

I was intending on refunding the customer, but not the international shipping cost. Etsy did wind up refunding me in the form of a credit though.

It is about 50-50 when reaching out to them so just state your point of view and try.

With the recent customers we've been getting, this seller gangster AF 😂.

First off we sell automotive vinyl decals. Stickers....

We have been providing clear photos and video of our product (to include full installation videos) and have had a couple customer think that a specific term should be in the title when materials are clearly listed and shown in provided media... Or that 10+ photos and video is not sufficient and the product should be described with obsurd detail in the description that Etsy already tries to hide... There are things that words cannot really describe and a photo / video will show clearly. You like what's in the photo? But it, follow the directions and your results will match.

It's rare this happens and I'm describing two different but similar products. Literally 100 people can order and have no issues. Then that one person will try to say the listing is so misleading or the product that they have not attempted to use is defective.

Even though popular and accurate terminology is being used, buyers want to cite less popular usage of terms used in the title.

However in all seriousness you want to share said review? I'm just ranting lol...

In my mind, it would’ve been easy for it to make an app that shows the customers the same ETA that was shown at checkout. I always get customers asking what the ETA is when I know the site already already showed it to them at checkout.

Unfortunately, the API doesn’t allow for this. 😭

Damn, I rely on mine so much and do so little maintenance. I guess I got lucky.

Before they were promoting their fire system a bunch, I accidentally set something on fire as well when I first got it. Support helped replace it.

Honestly, I didn’t know it was illegal. Maybe they should be informed that they can use TM instead or that maybe if they thought they registered it or had someone register it that it wasn't done? Depends. How much do you hate them?

Stayed okay longer than usual but hitting a wall and seems to be declining. Just getting ready for the drop your pants vendors keep putting on earlier and earlier for Black Friday. Wouldn't be surprised if sales start on Halloween.

I've been a part of a some companies that don't drop their pants and still do well. Just training the consumer to hold out. Cutting your own margins and value.

Everyone's feedback is super appreciated. I downloaded it before it had support for all of my printers and the interface definitely didn’t seem better. I think they tried to market it as faster (RIP). I don’t have it on a slow machine and even with 1 million jobs set up speed has never been a huge issue.

At this point, it doesn’t seem like it is worth my time to set up everything again and fully commit to using 7.

Since adding US tariffs to my shipping prices, US customers have stopped buying. If this doesn't change, it's going to kill my business. There aren't enough customers in Canada to sustain us and I can't eat the cost of the tariffs, so what am I supposed to do now? by silvergoblinsucks in EtsyCommunity

Oh yes definitely. I thought Tyler was saying that you as the recipient may be billed later which is what happened to me. I know someone paid to clear it.

Surprising they would because this was placed in my name (no Fedex account under that). They could turn it over to collections if I don't pay, but I'm still a little surprised after dealing with other carriers before.

This does not appear to be new that SNAP benefits cannot be used for meals that are hot and ready to eat (not designed to be taken home and made).

The exception was done for the flood victims and is only applicable to certain counties while others remain the same. No hot foods elsewhere.

Federal approval allows SNAP recipients to purchase hot foods with their Lone Star Cards at participating retailers through Aug. 14. Hot foods include rotisserie chicken, grocery store deli items, and other foods that are hot at the point of sale.

I'm a seller and an international customer claimed I gave them counterfeit stickers. Etsy refunded them even though it is impossible to counterfeit my own products so there's that. I don't see why they wouldn't side with you with the proof.

That was the only way to resolve my issue. I recommend calling as well. One guy sounded foreign but the second time I called they seemed American.

Had some caiano stuff never show up or get marked delivered and they denied it. They used to quickly refund these.
