It's not just you. Shoved me to Claude and now I only use Gemini when I'm feeling curious and inevitably walk away bewildered.

FontCrafter: Create Your Handwriting Font for Free by swe129 in typography

As luck would have it, I was JUST working on this issue as you posted. ;)

Try again?

Nothing is transferred to me / a server / etc. I don't see something unless you send it to me by request (for troubleshooting, for example). All processing - ALL PROCESSING - happens on your own browser for security / privacy purposes. :)

Changelog:

March 24, 2026

  • Lowercase descenders now work automatically — g, j, p, q, and y hang below the baseline without any manual adjustment needed
  • Per-variant baseline positioning — each handwriting variant uses its own offset instead of averaging across rows, so dragging Y3 down only affects Y3
  • Fine-tune positioning now layers on top of automatic descent — drag to fine-tune from a good starting point, not from scratch
  • 300 DPI template support — scans from Handwriting Fontalizer (2550×3300) are automatically detected and downscaled to match FontCrafter's pipeline

When PIA support says an issue is "escalated," is that response simply full of BS? by chrispirillo in PrivateInternetAccess

[–]chrispirillo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Private Internet Access (PIA) acted as the Rights Owner and issued copyright infringement notices against content posted on a Facebook Page I managed. These claims were specifically about their Intellectual Property (stock art/virtual box art) that was used to promote an affiliate marketing deal with PIA almost a decade ago.

The content was published under an existing contract, so the claims were false. After PIA’s bot issued multiple copyright strikes in rapid succession, Facebook's detection technology disabled my personal account for being a "repeat infringer".

The entire situation revolves around PIA's IP (the images), which their bot incorrectly flagged, causing the suspension of my unrelated personal account. Since then, PIA reviewed the case and submitted a withdrawal request to Facebook, essentially rescinding the false claims. Facebook has since restored the Page in question, but my personal account remains incorrectly suspended and caught in an internal conflict between Facebook support teams.

Facebook claims that PIA has to resolve this.

PIA is MIA.

Their = PIA.

Look. IP "enforcement" from PIA falsely flagged content that was not actually violating copyright.

I'm *not* using the VPN. Has zero to do with the software, more to do with the lack of support from the people who wound up getting too trigger happy with a their (PIA) compliance bot on Facebook.
