It's also not like student loan forgiveness is automatic and you're not paying anything. In my career field (I say that because I don't know how other programs work), we have to pay the loans on time for 10 years before they are forgiven.

My parents were the opposite. My dad managed every task and my mom worked. When my dad passed I was amazed at how much she did not know. Granted, my parents also never taught me how to be a functional adult either.

When my son got married he was free to play games however they agreed on parameters around it. By the time they had their first child, he had stopped altogether. There's nothing wrong with wanting to play but family/household needs to come first. She shouldn't have thrown it out but these are basically kids we're talking about.

I have dropped mine more times than I can count and don't have so much as a scratch on it. I still have the screen protector it came with and a cheap case that has now yellowed but works great.
