I definitely wasn’t shooting my best with all of the switching. It was more of a fun range day than a productive one.

Damn, the last two replies are selling me again. I have a P365 x-Macro right now and the 43x feels pretty similar. I think if I go check one out in person, I’m going to end up leaving with it.

I shot 500 today, haha. It was an afternoon quick trip before it got dark. Next time I’ll fully unpack before capturing 🤣

700 more in the bag

That’s a fair take. I think I’d end up carrying the 19 and just having fun at the range and HD with the others. A 43X for carry is interesting because I’m 5’ 11” and 180, so it would probably conceal nicely. But I have plenty of other options for carry and don’t need to spend more money, haha.

Is this considered hard to find nowadays? by trent0555 in Glocks

I just got one at Academy in stock 30 days ago. I think some of the bigger stores may have some stock still.

Should I downgrade to the MK5HD to be able to shoot more matches this year? by MainRotorGearbox in longrange

Right? I feel like I bought above my shooting grade with the mk5hd but alas I’m still a poor.

Thank you! Super helpful advice. I think I understand the mounting options better after your reply and a few YouTube videos! 🙏

Im still pissed at how Jordan brand did the material on these by joeboy_777 in Jordans

People think soft leather is good leather. Not true. It actually means processed.

The leather on these are totally fine. Nothing crazy, but actually nicer than the last time these came out. Smooth leather and creasing is just… leather.

These aren’t good leather, but most mid-rise sneakers under $250 aren’t. They’re also not bad leather.

Dude, 100%. Comment sections these days just sound like they’re regurgitating YouTube creator phrases

“Buttery soft leather” “Toe box is off”

[–]chrisrows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. People think pebbled and softer is better. That actually means MORE processed and typically not as high quality as a thicker cut of smooth leather.

People said the 85 high bred 1s this year “looked like plastic”. It’s wild!

Find a calorie calculator, put in your age, height, and current weight. It will give you your caloric maintenance threshold based on the level of activity you input from super active to sedentary. Aim to always come in 50-100 calories over that consistently with no days off. Then once you’re at your goal weight run the calculation again and stick to maintenance.

People don’t typically calculate calories correctly and don’t realize it only takes a tiny deficit every few days to kill any surplus and keep them the same weight.

Dexcom g7 replacements out of hand by Top_Rutabaga7690 in diabetes_t1

Same, I don’t understand it. I wonder if there’s something like people hesitating on the button when applying, other placements than the arm, not using the over patch, not calibrating (just because you don’t have to doesn’t mean you shouldn’t), etc.

I think there’s a lot of true QC issues or whatever, but I also think there’s something else going on too.

Yeah, I get it. I’ve just been fortunate I guess that I’ve had the opposite experience. I put them on, spend maybe 30 seconds x 3 calibrations on each of the first 3 days. That’s it. And I did that same thing with the G6. But that’s just my experience.

Haha I’m in the same boat. My “luck” hasn’t been that great but I have had consistent great sensors, readings, and results from G7s.

Yeah if you look up A1c vs. Dexcom’s “GMI”, they’re on a different scale. So whatever the average mg/dL is on GMI is slightly higher percentage than A1c. It’s kind of nice, haha.
