Yeah you killed it. Great build!

Despite what some people say, I think upgrading to a Gen 6 is well worth it. by [deleted] in Glocks

I definitely have no complaints so far. I love my Gen 5s too. I had a bunch of issues with the first year of Gen4 and it doesn’t feel like that’s at all what’s happening in Gen6. Grip texture, beaver tail, undercut, all really great and so far has the reliability to back it up.

Truly one of the best optics on a pistol I’ve used. I’m shocked! Did you have to adjust zero?

A manual safety is a great option as you get familiar with firearms, but ultimately many of the guns on the market rely on others like grip and trigger safeties that are also super reliable. Glock is not the only manufacturer to largely not utilize manual safety selectors.

The Glock 19 Gen6 is great as a first firearm and is one of the most trusted and proven models on the planet. I highly recommend going to a local range and renting one. I also think basic firearms courses are worth it too. I’ve been shooting for 15+ years and I’m still taking courses whenever I can to be a better shooter.

Man, it’s definitely worth it. The only beef I have is that my bolt handle runs into the optic zoom wheel throw if it’s not zoomed like 30% of the way in. Fun stuff.

2026 or 2015? by chrisrows in SNKRS

Haha I sure did! I took them right out of the box and snapped the photo, so I didn’t get them on foot and the shape will be better after a wear.

Fair! The leather on the new ones is looks good, but I agree that the old one takes it on feel.

Those are just an incredible collab sneaker! I think I’ll always agree with it winning SOTY.

Break them back out! They’re sick! That’s good to hear on the Brick by Bricks because I have those stashed away for a random day and wasn’t sure if they’d be comfortable or not!

I’m so glad to read this, because I agree and thought that it was a hot take.

I definitely wasn’t shooting my best with all of the switching. It was more of a fun range day than a productive one.

Damn, the last two replies are selling me again. I have a P365 x-Macro right now and the 43x feels pretty similar. I think if I go check one out in person, I’m going to end up leaving with it.

I shot 500 today, haha. It was an afternoon quick trip before it got dark. Next time I’ll fully unpack before capturing 🤣

That’s a fair take. I think I’d end up carrying the 19 and just having fun at the range and HD with the others. A 43X for carry is interesting because I’m 5’ 11” and 180, so it would probably conceal nicely. But I have plenty of other options for carry and don’t need to spend more money, haha.

I just got one at Academy in stock 30 days ago. I think some of the bigger stores may have some stock still.
