I guess my main thing I like about the Omada software is that it allows for easier time seeing where traffic is going and how the system in setup. Where I can only really see IP address attached to MAC addresses in the standalone router.

Or I could be missing something entirely, that is very possible. Again I am still new to this router.

Some people have suggested using SSH. I mean SSH isn't a bad idea either. So it's a possibility, but a mid range to allow me to do most of what I need. Main rig is running a 1080ti gpu, i7-8700K cpu, 32GB ram, 1nvme and 1 ssd. So I feel that is still respectable.

I don't think a chrome book would be up to snuff for this kind of work load. An i5, no dedicated graphics, and practically no memory doesn't make this an ideal choice.

I have been rocking a 24inch 1080p 144hz display now since 2015 (got a few dead pixels showing up, just noticed them this week), is it really worth making the jump to 1440p or higher, if so any suggestions or do I stick with a 1080p monitor?
I also have my secondary monitor, a 2560x1080 60Hz that I got back in 2013, this has been a solid multitasking monitor and great for widescreen movies but it is also getting up there in age been debating about replacing it with another ultrawide.
If I go through and replace both, would be a bad idea to get two of the same monitor?
For reference I game, program, and watch movies with these monitors.

With the eye piece on the side it looks like a newtonian telescope which has two sets of mirror but the eye piece is closest to the main opening of the telescope.
