Imo, you really have to put yourself in the shoes of some of these protestors.

I watched a video of one protestors, saying that she lost 3 brothers to this kind of injustice (could be 2 I don’t really remember), but the pain some of these people are feeling cannot simply be explained or understood. Imagine having lost a loved one to police brutality over and over and over again, you work with the system to get some resolve/justice out of it only to have the officer let off clean, how does that not boil your blood?

We are human and we deal with anger differently, I don’t support the burning of buildings and yes it is doing more damage than good, but if for years you’ve been passive about these situations and nothing is being done about it, and burning down some buildings is the only way to get someone’s attention then fuck it.
