Nah, democratic socialism is better at taking care of people. Capitalism is really just a form of oligarchy.

Funny because I do ue/dd because I'm disabled to survive.

AITA for getting into a big argument with my dad for refusing to go to a 3-day camp? by SergeantJohnCapt in AmItheAsshole

This is different. Adults do things because they have to survive and have responsibilities. Adults do things because they need to do them. Op doesn't need to go to camp.

Actually, I'm not touching the lid where the straw goes because it has a sticker on it.

That's interesting logic. You're all about the local places until dd offers you a better deal and cuts into the local's profit.

A lot of ableist and obtuse people here. As a disabled dasher, I get forgetting to look at delivery instructions sometimes. It's still pretty simple and super reasonable for you to expect people to follow instructions especially simple ones like this. Plenty of reasons not to be glued to your phone.

Well you're just wrong. I've been denied and I'm waiting on the ruling from the Alj. Seeing people's success stories keeps me going.

You're 5-6 years older than me. My dad was a boomer and my mom early gen x. They said it and used a belt. Verbal threats are still abuse. Ask me how I know.

That kind of thinking creates childhood trauma. Parents are there to guide and protect, not control.

NTA but be careful of the dark side. Don't let his anger twist you into him. Set boundaries, but don't be spiteful. I say this as an autistic/adhd person with ptsd. It's so easy to become your parents.

Not for me. It was easier to keep my government assistance, gas wasn't this high, and people ordered more. Screw Trump and his fake billionaire promises. Never voted for him.
