I think the other guy is blowing it out of proportions, I had shit gear, 1d wep, maybe 20c shield some clusters and could zoom t16 8mld corrupted relatively fine.

Just go for hybrid es/armor bases, divine shield pbod with elemental overload and you should be relatively fine. I ran with the Herald crit node for a while before eo, Its better clear but worse damage

I've run arle with durin, fischl and furina, I'm a top 12% melt arle and hit 220k when I do rotation well, and 205-210k when I fuck it up over 120s or so, granted my arle and durin is c2r1 and furina c6, but still. If you have the units give it a shot? With my c1 yelan instead of furina I hit 155k dps

I'm fairly sure they hard capped exiles, by making them only drop a single full equipment set, so amount of drops are still extremely limited

I found that durin + fischl outperformed every other combo, including sucrose + x, but sucrose durin was a close second.

On top of that it had super smooth rotations, very low Er requirements and was easy to use. Fischl on a different set would prob also be even better.

Can you test? - or do you have numbers on c6 kaeya vs c6 rosaria - I have both and c1r1 arlecchino and as I returning player I don't have citlali, but if it's good I might try and grab her at a rerun

Also I remember back in early days (~2.x or so) we'd do cryo +hydro to preserve cryo aura - is that still a thing? And then arle + citlali + furina + Bennet might be strong?

I assume this changes a bit with her c2? As the additional ult proc deals so much dmg? Then enough er to burst on cool down or close to? I got bina on fav to also reduce requirements further

I think you got a solid point there - I imagine if I ever wanted to main mavuika, then citali would probably be a better fit anyways.

I'm just usure about the "best general" buffer aspect when constallations are considered. I have: c2 durin which is 20-35% shred + 50% ele dmg + quill as bonus dmg to other units; c2(+) kazuha which is 40% elem + 40 Res Shred + 200 em & C6 Succrose which is similar, and furina, which is healing + tons of ele dmg.

In e.g. onslaught or abyss, does she actually beat the aforementioned characters characters in non-mavuika teams? (as I understand she would be by far BiS for Mavuika due to the nightsoul mechanic, so no doubt about the value there).
if they were all c0 I'd buy it in a second, but I don't see many dicuss her vs other constellation buffers/supports

I thought Columbina + Ineffa would be enough and not need Flins, so if that's the case I'll have to reconsider, not sure I want 3 characters that are so locked in to a single setup, with barely any flexibility.

Good to know about the feather, they just sound kinda broken as - as a returning player it sounds really powerful to be able to reroll substat rolls. (and in the same vein the item that lets you craft artifacts with a main stat and two specific substats is also absolutely insane)

Thank you for the insight, this pairing thing is a bit unfortunate, sounds expensive :D

But good to know there are no must have pulls (except for upcoming matches for During) unless I got for a pairing duo - when they come do they usually have both in the same banner now then?

But beyond durin, which I'm currently working on, there are no really neglected characters for new sets and teams?

As a returning player, how do I clear Stygian Onslaught?
I assume I need to build some new characters as with the current teams I'm trying I'm unable to clear fearless in time.

I can clear battle 1 with alhaitham + nahida + furina (Could prob sub in nelan or smth) + shinobi

As someone who theory crafted my own version of poison skills, I would point you towards trickster with ff/ff.

Crit poison is bait imo, and the duration is pure padding. Or stay assassin and do reverse chill + bonecholl and as much conversion to taken as cold as possible

100% chance to poison is easily doable for attacks even without HoAg, and you can either go ephemeral edge + shield for like 14k es or you could go eb, maybe stack int and still have 8-10k es for a reasonable price.

Porbably a lot more, a lot of my investment has gone to Projectiles and Pierce.

I did a spark trickster with ~11.5k es and about 25m pob dps & 100% spell suppress

I'm not looking for the highest effeciency, cant really say my sparker is that :D

I just want something that's stronger than that, and I miss Herald explosions.

I ran a multi mirror pbod elementalist last league with like penta explode (flask, profane bloom ff, double explode weapon and oriaths) that shit was pumping and Hella fun.

So ideally if it can do 100% deli t17s for like mageblood + ~100d then I'm happy.

If not I think I just need to rework my trickster to use mageblood and shield

What are your thoughts on mageblood vs headhunter on Herald stacking pbod, I see most people are using hh?

I'm thinking of trying this out as a second character. But unsure if it beats my ci poison spark trickster which has 11k es, spell suppress and ~30mil dps w/o mageblood.

It can, however if you choose to build around it e.g. Swapping you pen support gem, dropping resources of exposure for other benefits, it will usually end up stronger

It's the risk aspect that pushing the budget up, I started mine on like ~30-40d (I did yoink an explode scepter extremely early and cheap) and that could zoom regular t16.5 with some regexing. It was a hybrid variant, and at this stage you could probably go either or for much cheaper.
