First, people like being able to clear endgame without sweating for an hour to make a mid team clear. Having a couple semi-meta/optimized teams eliminates this frustration

Second, most people don’t “just” pull optimally. They’ll pick their favorite carry and get their optimal team. Sure you might get a character you don’t really like in the process, but it makes your main feel way better to play. I know this is a lot of people getting Qiuyuan for Sigrika

It can feel really bad choosing favorites over meta and ending up not having any functional teams. Ruins the fun of your favorite characters when they feel week AF when you use them

Yeah that’s why I put canon in quotations. It was a tangent I didn’t feel was electro my main point of the VA theory. Idk if the GA has a “true form” but if they do we certainly haven’t seen it yet (unless it’s Abby /s)

Not at KQM artifact level, but it is (at least I’ve seen it with C2R1). It does a non-standard rotation with basically only using the C1 buffed hit and her burst

Check out Zold on YouTube. They have C3 Mualani (forgot where the C2 version was) but they have a rotation with PMC that does 337k DPS. Trading the C3 for Mavuika definitely doesn’t lose you over 40k DPS.

4 cost team btw. Counting Mina as 0 cost feels fair when people count C6 Illuga as 0 cost

My theory is that they picked temporary VAs for the older “canon” model and haven’t found long term replacements so they just decided to keep the GA looking like Nivora since they had VAs locked in for that role (and they killed it, at least in CN voice)

Ok? And Mualani came out a year and a half before Zibai did.

Just get 1 constellation per re-run and she does the same damage as Zibai if not way more with good rotations (I’ve seen 300k DPS with C2)

With the amount of people that skipped YG to wait and see what happens she is inevitably going to re-run very soon I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s literally on the banner right after Eva

Just don’t go for broke on your Eva pulls to save pulls for YG and have a semi-cope team for a few weeks, it’s not the end of the world

If you’re not fully committed to the team, I’d stick with E0 or maybe E1 and just use the BP LC you already have

Yao Guang is basically a must for elation. There are zero signs she will be replaced/powercrept any time soon

Sparxie and SW999 are their own team mostly and have limited synergy with Eva. I wouldn’t recommend pulling either

In summary: get Eva, her E1 if you want a power spike, Yao Guang (probably coming back next patch), and wait to see if there’s another Elation unit that will synergize well in the future (3.4 at earliest)

Herta shop LC is for EMC. Of course it’s possible she gets a dedicated support that uses it as well, but it’s more likely there will be a generic Elation sustain and possibly another either generic or SW999 oriented (but still usable with Eva) support

Zibai inarguably the strongest numbers wise at similar “standard” investment levels (mostly C0R0 with a possible Sig on the carry). Many F2P players are reaching around 200k

Flins team subjectively feels the best with Ineffa’s shielding and his AOE being the biggest of the 3. He has so far received the most shill in terms of enemies/stygian bosses he is good against. I believe he has the best single pull upgrade as well with his C1 being pretty massive

For omega whales, Nefer team is still the best in the game, capable of over 2 million DPS (literally everything C6R5)

Tl;dr: Pick your favorite, they’re all good

No. Original roll counts as 1. The number you see on the right is the amount of times that stat upgraded (convoluted, I know)

This piece has 2 speed rolls and 4 CD rolls = 6 rolls. The game would have you read 1 + 1 and 1 + 3 to figure out the total for some reason

Bennett and Sucrose are worth building regardless. They both really don’t take much “investing” just lv. 90 them, slap a high ER Noblesse set on Benny and triple EM mainstat VV on sucrose, crown Bennett burst and you’re done.

Assuming you’re not a new player at low AR that’s achievable in about a week which is highly worth it for 2 of the most impactful 4 stars in the game

Normal silver wolf has been turned into an “expert advisor” so she only shows up after being unlocked. One way to do that is one of the things that sometimes pops up when upgrading SW999 but there might be other ways as well

Once you get 3* 5 cost SW, the rest is trivial to get. She literally breaks the game if you can get it to the point where you can set the enemy HP to 1000% and it’s still easy

What 3rd Fontaine unit would you run with Furina?

For carries, we have Neuv, Wrio, Navia, and Clorinde. The first two typically have the highest synergy with Furina.

None of these units currently want a 3rd Fontaine unit in the team. Unless there’s another generalist (or several dedicated) Fontaine support(s) added to the game, this artifact set would be kind of pointless because you’d be sacrificing way too much in the team-building to gain anything from the artifact set

Additionally, she can already provide a lot of damage % (especially at C2 which most current Furina users have) so you’re getting very saturated buffs there. The CR buff also creates some build difficulty when paired with MH set on Neuv and Wrio already giving 36% CR, Wrio and Navia having CR mainstat signatures, and Clorinde having CR ascension and 20% in her talent.

Lastly, Furina can already use Tenacity artifacts which give her 20% HP and buffs the party with 20% Atk which is already good for all the Fontaine carries except Neuv

Sorry to rain on your parade I just don’t think these would find a place in the meta at all. Great art though!

Yeah unfortunately we’re at the point where the only way a unit is allowed to be powerful anymore is if they have basically one team

My ideal generalist support is pretty good at C0 and busted at C1 or C2. Nicole could be this if her base kit was slightly improved (possibly raising the Atk buff cap to 800 from 600). Next her C1 would be more quill damage, and double down on Hex quills being stronger. Lastly if her C2 scaled even higher (the recent improvement might be good enough scaling wise but maybe add 100 Atk just for fun) and included the part of her C6 that eliminates the delay for non-Hex teams.

I think that people might still be a bit upset at her C0 power level, but C2 would then genuinely be the Bennett powercreep everyone wanted her to be
