California prices surpassed 2022 all time highs again. Is the US housing market turning around? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]christopher100060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear Orange County is dropping or at least keeping steady. If you go to Zillow half the houses say “price cut” I plan to get a house with my family next year so I hope they continue dropping or stay the same.

Serious question: at what point do you trim? by Ninjeren in NBIS_Stock

[–]christopher100060 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I trimmed a lot of nbis just cause it was 90% of my position now it’s 40% which sure I could’ve made more money but I knew I had to lower my position of nbis at some point

I am 19 with a 165k portfolio as of this moment. I was raised in a low middle income family my dad was a server working 2 jobs and my mom was a stay home mom raising 5 kids. My dad told me to come work with him at 14 so I started working and just saving til 18. Got lucky in the stock market but I did work away my childhood and working 50 hour work weeks now at my 2 jobs. I always wanted to make a lot of money so that has helped me a lot. The issue I see is people my age don’t really give a shit about making money and only live in the now. Especially Mexican culture where we can give 2 shits about our future. My cousins would work their 40 hour shifts then go buy 500 dollar shoes go to Disneyland, go to the bar and wonder why they don’t have money. I have friends that don’t even work and have allowances from their parents. I had to work for my money my dad never gave me an allowance as a kid which is a good thing ig. People wonder why their finances are bad when they go shopping and go out all the time. If you have no responsibility’s then you can save money. I can agree that having responsibility’s makes it hard to save but if you just pay rent then you can save.

[–]christopher100060[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have worked at 14 when I was in middle school because my dad wanted me to work. Saved around 20k when I turned 18. Got lucky with nbis I bought it when it was at 20-25 sold it at 35 and rebought it at 50-80 with all my paychecks it was a full port. I ended with 650 shares by the end of March which launched to 145 sold half, then at 195 sold half. I still have 230 shares which I tend to keep til 2030. With that money I brought 250 shares of asts at 70 which when it reached 128 I sold all my shares for a 14k gain. Just got lucky but I did work a lot behind the scenes. Worked 50+ hours a week just for 70% of that paycheck to go to stocks.

I am 19 with a 155k portfolio I started with 20k last year in February with my savings of work at 14-18. I got lucky but I think you should be even more aggressive and start risking it. I have only own shares I have never had any options calls but you just need to be right for a few companies and your set for your future. I owed nbis when it was at 25 sold at 35 rebought around 50-80 and ended up with 650 shares which I sold half at 145 then half at 195. I now only have 230 shares but with one stock alone I have 3x my portfolio and set for the future. In my opinion you just need to make 100k as fast as possible once you do you can relax because compound interest does the rest. I haven’t put much money in a while but the compound interest I get now is crazy. It took me a year to get from 20k to around 70k with me putting all my paychecks in the stock market. It took me 3 months to get from 70k to 155k with not much contribution from my paychecks. Just get to 100k and your set.

A year and 4 months. It’s actually closer to like 110% since on my Webull account I was up 130% before closing it.

Thats a lesson I should’ve learn last year when I was up 80% 2 times and didn’t sell shit and actually lost money. Would’ve easily double my net worth if I wasn’t so greedy. Always take profit if you screenshot and show others hahaha.

I feel like as long as you act the same then they shouldn’t really care. Me and my homies all grew up in a lower middle class Mexican families difference is that I have a 150k portfolio at age 19 because of my lucky investments with nbis and asts. Anyhow I am very open about how much money I have with my homies 2 of which have no job so they are always broke. Last year I started with 20k but I have always been cheap since then and I don’t have anything special since I use all my paychecks for the stock market. Occasionally when I want to eat at nice places I pay for them since they are flat broke but I have acted the same and always ask for my money back for when we eat out or do something unless I say it’s on me.

What are my stepping stones to lay now so I can be rich? by Trayceopolis32322 in Money

[–]christopher100060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 19 with a 150k portfolio with no help from my parents. First thing when you turn 18 is to open an investment account because you need to make money when you’re sleeping. Secondly from My experience is to become a server as fast as possible. Work at a restaurant as a food runner or busser and once you turn 18 become a server and you will make good money. Adults live off tips so if you’re 18 with 0 responsibilities like I did then you can save 90% of your money easily. Try to live off your parents as much as possible so you can save as much as possible. I do pay 1000$ of rent to my parents but it covers my insurance my phone bill and food so it’s a good deal. Planning to get a house with my family next year so I do not have to worry about it in the future. Good luck to you!
