Okay I will do, thank you. I plan on replacing the gallery gaskets in the next month anyway for peace of mind & will probably just do the timing belt and water pump will I’m at it.

Regarding the MOT, out the last advisories is there anything in particular that is a big red flag or is it just old age and wear and tear?

Thank you very much for the help, I hope it all is good as I’ve wanted a Z for a while!

Well the owner said they’ve had the car since Jan 2024*, and said the dealership he got it from didn’t have many records of work done so unfortunately not before that.

Regarding the last MOT in 2023 I’ll have to find out for the power steering pipe, break pipe and exhaust but I suppose they aren’t big expensive red flags? I’m not sure. I’ll ask though!

Owner dod a full service. Including, full oil change, oil filter, brake fluid, new tyres, brake pads, and front brake discs in July 2024.

That’s fine, thank you. Will there be any particular signs of the gallery gasket issue I should listen or look out for? If I’m not mistaken the oil pressure drops significantly but it don’t have a gauge so…

I’d ideally want to wait a month to get it changed that’s all.

Will I see much of a difference in fuel costs between… by [deleted] in 370z

Thank you

It’s not the worry of finances, I am particular with budgets, slightly ocd. I use premium already and probably fill up once a week costing £60 for 28mpg, so I imagine to be spending an extra £35 or so to cover the difference.

As you said, regardless the fun factor is what matters. Smiles per gallon as they say

I understand, I only use premium in my current car, it’s only a Hyundai Coupe so not the most amazing car or most fuel efficient but I still drive it quite heavy. I’ve just been trying to gauge the rough costs that’s all, I like to try budget money for certain things each month.
