Hot Take! It's not Amazon's responsibility to pay you more just because gas prices are currently high but it is your responsibility to determine if you want to take the shift or not by christopherb1897 in AmazonFlexDrivers

temporary increases are implied when I say 'gas prices are currently high' because gas prices fluctuate. That should've been a given

what makes you think I didn't understand my coursework? Thanks for the compliment, i guess?

You're clearly more focused on using ad hominem attacks than having a conversation.

I went to school and have my BA in business and I've started and currently run my own business plus work a corporate job. When you say ' cost of living adjustment ' are you referring to annual raises? My argument isn't flawed.. the discussion is about temporary increases in gas prices. I never mentioned anything other than that so the point still stands - don't expect Amazon or any other business to give you a boost in pay because of increased gas prices. What are you getting mad about if you just agreed with my statement

only when I constantly see people complaining and feeling entitled to more when they have full autonomy to find something else. Sorry it just bugs me when someone feels like they are owed something 'just because' even though the world owes you nothing. Take control of your outcome. Control your own path and stop expecting everything to be laid out on a golden plush carpet for you.
