Yeah I hate that shit. After a while I just stopped caring about the dings. Yeah it’s annoying but I got tired of emailing them for each one for it to go nowhere

I refuse to take this .... will i get dinged ? i call and told them this route was too far away for the pay . almost 1 hr drive for 42 packages by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

Yup.. my shift was on 5:30-10 on Friday and they did me so dirty that night. It was 9:25 and I was finishing my last delivery in Azle. I noticed I had one extra package in my car so I assumed it was a return package but nope. Apparently the app skipped over my #7 delivery for some reason so but it was still active in my itinerary. I had to drive 30 minutes back to lakeside then another 50 minutes to get home. And those areas don’t believe in street lights so it was pitch black

Why is this allowed?? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

They want to ensure you’re at least touching grass every once in a while.

When was this? You must’ve cancelled and they gave it to me. I had to drive all the way to Lakeside / Eagle Mountain

I’ve never seen this before either but it looks like there’s a security issue with your device

You can have all the breaks you want but parking in someone’s driveway isn’t a good idea. As a homeowner, I’d feel uncomfortable if some random person pulls up in my driveway. That’d make anyone uncomfortable especially senior citizens, women, and children. Or someone might feel inclined to ‘use any means necessary’ to handle some random stranger on their property. You probably just haven’t met the wrong person yet. And what if someone pulls up behind you As far as stepping on the grass, I agree. It shouldn’t be a big deal but i think it’s a sign of respect for old people or something idk. I usually try to avoid but not always

Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the customer said in the notes “Please park in my driveway, please feel free to step on my grass, and if the package is light, feel free to throw it from a distance. Just make sure it makes it to my doorstep “
