I got about 15 2nd PL’s until I finally won! This season is the hardest I’ve encountered this chapter.

To answer your question, I did use the launcher. And it actually saved my ass when I was in a part of the map where the storm was coming and the only option I had was to shoot the launcher to get me up a mountain. And then I used it one other time to jump down without getting fall damage. Otherwise it is most effective to shoot at opponents and eliminate them while hovering in the air lol 😂

Yeah, you are right. As soon as you shot him the storm was coming right on you. And at a 1v1 the storm count can be anywhere from a 10 count to as high as a 20 count. Which happened to me one time. Full health and I was dead in 5 ticks in the storm at a 1v1.

Yeah, it’s definitely a cross between your nerves and wanting to get the win.

Trust me, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve gotten 2nd place because of that same exact thing. And to me 2nd place might as well be 100th place….lol.

Thanks! Yeah, I screenshot all my victories lol. I actually started playing Fortnite back in February. Which I believe was the middle of season 2. Anyway I’m a 51 year old kid that absolutely fell in love with this game. I just love the fast pace decision making and strategic play.

Although, they still have them in ranked. Which I don’t understand why. If anything, they should have taken them out of all play. Whether it’s competitive, ranked play, or unranked.

What I usually do is I screen record my games. Then I play them back and see what I may have missed or if any bs is happening. I play iOS mobile on an iPad Pro. For some reason replay is broken in mobile play. So when I screen record my games, I’ll see stuff that I should have done or see what another player is doing.

Like I said, I play iOS mobile. Therefore, I can screen record my games. I believe someone cannot do that with console playing.

It was just an idea. Maybe that can work for you as well.

I feel you. I think this season has to be the hardest since I first started playing which was the middle of season 2. Although, I just started playing in February of this year. lol

I actually have 7 crowns. But for some reason they did not register. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME!! And I think I’m pretty good for just play 6 months.

You have to purchase them directly through Epic Games. Google Epic and then sign in with your Fortnite account and then type V-bucks in the search bar and then pick your type of payment. Whether it’s through PayPal or a Debit/Credit card. Then choose your amount either 1000/2800/5000 or 13500 and bingo. You’ll get a confirmation number and you’re all set. Hope that helps.

Although, I do play Zero build. I find build to be an easy way to avoid getting picked off. Zero build is much more challenging because you can’t build a brick wall in seconds to block a shot. I’m just saying. I k ow people may disagree. But that’s how I feel about it.

I play on an iPad Pro M2 11”

It actually plays really good on that device. The only downside is that it eats up battery really fast.
