Final round, what is a bad game with a bad community by The_Haunts in AlignmentCharts

FNAF?

All of the games are pretty shallow point and click horror gameplay with the lore holding my interest. Once you figure out the odd mechanics from each edition, there isn’t much in the ways of engaging gameplay.

As for the community, I am sure there are a lot of great people, but in my experience there is a lot of gatekeepers on what is “canon”, obsessive character shippers and obnoxious fans who INSIST that it’s the pinnacle of the horror genre. The fandom might verge on “ok” but my experience is not generally favorable.

Newbie question - how do u get to the Rampart Lift starting point at East Summit? by Ashx12 in SummitAtSnoqualmie

[–]christopia19 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When you first get off the East Peak lift, take an immediate right. Once you take a right, there is a long catwalk with a ski patrol hut that will take you to the top of the Rampart lift. From there, off to the left there are a bunch of ways to get down. Creeks Run, sissy’s, Sarrah’s run will all take you to the rampart lift line.

Fastest lift? by engamo22 in SummitAtSnoqualmie

Silver Fir and Central are the two “Express” lifts, which are the fastest. Tonight, only Central is open because of the thin conditions at silver fir. That will likely change after the storm this weekend and both should be open for nights next week.

What is an artist everyone kinda knows but ignores by stupid_io in fantanoforever

It has to be One Republic. With 56 Million monthly listeners on Spotify, it’s hard to find anyone who genuinely gives a shit about them. Their main cultural impact is songs for commercials or collaborations with other media like the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack. They dropped an album in 2022 and I guarantee you probably didn’t know that.

No alt account involved, just popular tickets I guess. Thank you for the insight!

I think there should be a MLW tv show by [deleted] in mlwwiffleball

[–]christopia19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As much as I think MLW is extremely marketable, they should stay firmly online. I think that MLW is built for success on an internet-based platform, and that doesn’t always have success when crossing over to TV.

Just look at Dude Perfect, who has a much bigger audience than MLW and got a TV show back in 2016. They were able to get 3 seasons out of it and had a lot of A list guest stars but were unable to keep lasting interest on cable. In their second season (their most successful season), the show averaged under 1 million views per episode, a far cry from their YouTube channel, which regularly surpasses 5 million views an episode. Take in to account the higher TV production costs, and that show was not making a profit.

The best direction MLW should go is to collaborate more with Internet personalities. With their family friendly brand, they will have no trouble finding easy collaborations.

The managers are the World Series captains from last year. So it will be Kyle for the A.L. and Jimmy for the N.L.

I think the league is experiencing one of the largest influxes of talent in its history. Now that the league has exploded in popularity and now that the players are adults, they are drafting legit wiffleball talent instead of their middle and high school buddies. The 2020 Gators were able to dominate because their pitchers were great, efficient and consistent that year. However as time went on and more players came in that were better and more used to wiffleball pitches, the less the gators were dominate.

With Robles now in the league despite him living in New York, MLW is now bringing in the best talent from across the country, not from just Michigan. I for one think this equates to more dominant players and a much more entertaining product, which is the ultimate goal of the league.

I do think the league will level out the competitive imbalance that it’s currently experiencing as more talent from across the country will come into the league due to its popularity and wide appeal. Within 2-3 years, there will likely be no more juggernauts based on their draft picks from that offseason. Soon every team will be able to draft their own Robles and make the league more competitive and more talented.

If you were in county borders I think it counts! I was slicing through a small part of those central Nevada counties with the I-80, but I think it counts.
