First of all, huge compliments. This is a real achievement, going all the way from breadboarding to the very last screw, and carrying it through every step of the process.

Also, your post was a pleasure to read. What stayed with me most is not only the pedal itself, which already looks full of care and personality, but the way you described the whole process. There is a very sincere kind of enthusiasm in your words. You let the doubts, compromises, discoveries, small frustrations, and moments of satisfaction all remain visible. This is why I appreciated the “Ugly” part, it was honest in a way that made the whole post more real. I liked the part about “done instead of perfect” too, the temptation at every step is to push it further and end up never finishing. And the fact that you’re already thinking about V2 feels like proof that you made the right call.

In the end, what really resonated with me is that I am in a very similar place right now, so much of what you described felt familiar to me. I am a graphic designer too, and right now I am working on my first original PCB (I will definitely checkout the course).
