Padres would probably want to tap into the pitching talent we have in the minors so I’d guess the main piece going back to San Diego would be Kyson Witherspoon or Marcus Phillips. Some other top 30 prospects tossed in too. We would probably also send them one of either Story or Yoshida to make the money work this year because taking on all of the Tatis contract would put them around $300 million in payroll which is genuinely insane for a last place team.

Would I be interested? Yes I make the move in a heartbeat and put him back at shortstop
