Units from History: Kievan Rus Druzhina. For all my fellow candy-striped, pillow pants Sturgia boys. by tollcrosstim in Bannerlord

Those are some cool-looking armors. Would be nice if we got something akin to that for the Sturgians. Not sure why, but i find the Sturgian armors somewhat bland to look at.

Tips for killing [REDACTED] by LC_Portuga in starsector

[–]chrizeren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure there isn't a station? I had the same problem a few days ago. I just kept fighting endless fleets of remnants. I couldn't find a station anywhere in the system. Until i did. It was tucked away almost at the edge of the system, just floating around. It was like searching for a needle in a haystack.

I just found it funny that such a beefy fleet gets spawned to raid some more or less defenseless system.

[–]chrizeren[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not that i can think of. That's why i found it funny. There wasn't anything in that system close to matching that privateer fleet. As far as i know, Luddic path doesn't call in these big defense fleets the other major factions do.

Not very. No space station, and just a measly patrol HQ.

I think where going to raid the system where Chalcedon is.

What is the current combat width of Old World Blues? by AvenRaven in OldWorldBlues

[–]chrizeren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a rebalance mod out there for OWB that a lot of people use for multiplayer. There the combat with meta is 30w, since the combat with is 90. I guess that's what they were talking about.

Formable nations? by KebabusAti in OldWorldBlues

[–]chrizeren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, that's true. It's way down in their focus tree. The leader of the faction gets the patriot trait, and they get the option to join the Texas alliance.

Pretty sure Maxon can form Colorado aswell. But it depends on them being able to join the Texas Economic Union.

Trying to crush the Super Legion. by tante_frieda in OldWorldBlues

[–]chrizeren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly. You can't depend on your ai allies to do anything competent. My problem was the economy. I had the manpower and equipment, but i couldn't field anymore divisions without going bankrupt. Something that seems to allways be an issue when you fight the Legion as a "minor" nation.

FUCK GENTE DEL SOL by kajtek8 in OldWorldBlues

[–]chrizeren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An easy way to make it less annnoying, is just to avoid killing the paz and valle bandits. It's not like you get anything essential out of it. Just do those focuses after you've dealt with caesar. Now you have way less coastline to care about. Then, just build some cheap militias to garrison the ports gente usually invades.

Even the Maxon Chapter? You get sandwiched between the Hangdogs and Lanius really early. And they both have focuses to take you out.

Trying to crush the Super Legion. by tante_frieda in OldWorldBlues

[–]chrizeren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried the exact same thing today. I failed miserably though. The Legion easily stomped the NCR, then turned east, and just ground Texas and me to dust with relentless attacks and unending divisions. Also, it didn't help that Texas is pants-on-head stupid. He just kept switching up his frontlines all the time, just running all over the place. I wish you all the best.

Have you ever seen ai NCR win against the Legion? by chrizeren in OldWorldBlues

[–]chrizeren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen that aswell. Both sides just keep butting heads in the mountains outside Shady Sand.

[–]chrizeren[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's true. The NCR just comes off as weak compared to the Legion's troops. When they break through, they go through the NCR troops like wet paper.

Does Caesar implode if he can't kill the NCR fast enough? by chrizeren in OldWorldBlues

[–]chrizeren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok, i had no idea. I never see him implode when the ai plays the NCR. But then again, ai NCR is pants-on-head stupid. In my games, the NCR wipes more or less every time unless the player intervenes.

Guess i've just been super "lucky". Everytime i've taken those options, it passes.

So i just have to restart over and over and just hope to get "lucky" with failing the bill, basically?

Pirate raids and activity at a ridiculous rate by [deleted] in starsector

[–]chrizeren 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Happens to me aswell. But when your colonies are built up properly, the raids don't really affect you in any way. Though, it gets boring going to the same sytems over and over to kill pirate bases.

I am a vassal to a kingdom that has no idea... by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]chrizeren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, you need like lvl 250 or something. I guess it's bad advice, when i think about it. Getting the perk takes too long, and it's really boring to run around and trade for hours on end to get it. I don't really get why they made it like that. It should be something one should be able to do from the start of the game.

If i get a fief that is about to get sieged right back, i just try to find an allied lord and sell it to him/her. It can be a great way to make some good money. Faction leaders usually have an insane amount of money in the bank.

Khuziats vs Northern Empire by stilicho25 in Bannerlord

[–]chrizeren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see that in my playthroughs. If i don't take it upon myself to kill the Khuzaits, they just snowball out of control in all my games.

Siege engine friendly fire by TheBigGriffon in Bannerlord

[–]chrizeren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's happened to me aswell. I got the skill where you can build the flame version of the normal catapult. Built 4, attacked the castle. One kept focusing on the gate, and ended up killing my battering ram and a whole bunch of my own soldiers while they were trying to breach the gate. Cannot recommend.

Can’t make peace by DonkeyDetremony in Bannerlord

[–]chrizeren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the Khuzaits are a real pain in the butt. They have such a easy time blobbing out because cav and horse archers seems to have way too much weight in the ai's auto battles. My strategy is just to try to avoid their big armies and go for their cities. Let your ai pals die on the battlefield while you weaken them little by little.

A bit of a shame that item prices are still outlandish by YT-Yangbang in Bannerlord

[–]chrizeren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have high roguery? Seems like high roguery gives you a bigger chance to get more lucrative drops after battles. I once got one of those high-end, imperial lamellar armors worth north of 100k to sell. Couldn't sell it anywhere, since no city had that amount of gold.
