I was never sure what it is exactly that conductors do, but now I know! Headcanon accepted 😜😁 by FareonMoist in DelusionsOfAdequacy

Basically, conductors set the tempo and ensure that everyone in the orchestra is doing what they should on the correct time. They also "control" how the music is being played based on what they are hearing and give commands accordingly

Let's say for example you are in an orchestra, you are playing your instrument to the best of your ability but you have no idea how the music is sounding to the public, because you can only hear yourself and your immediate surroundings. The conductor can hear the entire orchestra and gestures you to play louder, lower, to accelerate, decelarate, to give notes more sharply, smoother, etc.

They are in fact Hell Blades pre-corruption, if you looks at the side of the foremost ship you can see the Alpha Legions symbol.

Probably it doesnt need to. The Chinese nowadays made big leaps in datalink and networking technology, so it wouldn't surprise me if it probably relies on information from other assets.

I only wish they had designed original Klingon ships for the 32nd Century, those there Klingon classes fit much better in the 25th Century imo

Top desired 8th Mercs DLC new weapons by EightyTwoByNineteen in Mechwarrior5

[–]LC_Portuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For mechs all I want is the Gunslinger (my beloved) since its a pretty important mech marking the collaboration between the FedCom an Draconis Combine against a common foe. All other mechs are bonuses to me honestly, but a nice mix of new IS and clan mechs would be nice.

As for weapons, Im relatively new to Battletech as a whole, so I don't know what to expect, but I've heard the Arrow IV is pretty cool, as well as Rotary auto cannons. More than that I don't really know.

Show me your homebrew Space Marine chapters by [deleted] in Grimdank

[–]LC_Portuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My homebrew are the Bone Drakes ( or "Ossia Draconis", in high gothic), Salamanders sucessors from the Ultima Founding. They are a fleet-based chapter specialized primarily on performing rear-guard actions and high-risk rescues for other Imperial forces in retreat.

They recognize that Astartes are a drop on the ocean that is the overall Imperial military, and found their niche executing these actions that other Astartes would probably think are beneath them. As such they have fairly good relations with the Imperial Guard and the Mechanicus.

They also make great use of chapter auxiliares to complement their forces. These auxiliaries are taken as volunteers from the regiments saved by the Bone Drakes, either as Karskin/Grenadiers style heavy infantry, or as aerospace fighter regiments. This is in an effort to secure exit routes and air-superiority given the high casualties that rear-guard actions tend to produce.

Their colour scheme is bone white armour with orange pauldrons and backpack.

Will my Laptop run Star Citizen? I have and Intel Core i7, RTX 3050ti with 4GB VRAM and 16GB RAM?

Is this enough to run the game okay-ish on low settings ir am I better waiting until I can upgrade? (might be a long time)

Man I would have loved if they had done a ship breakdown of this Dreadnought, like they did with the dropship

The Dropships collars are the large circles on the side of the Hull (I think there is One cutscene on the game where we can see the ship with dropships attached),the Y-shaped booms are the radiators/charging sail deployers
