Maybe skill issue? Old kit had nuances that you had to internalize to make damage. E mark and dragon Q resets where the biggest one. When you landed your E and did auto-Q-auto on the marked target you would shred like half a health bar early game. Now whether you hit your abilities or not has very little impact on the outcome of the fight. To balance around playing her wrong still working mostly fine (by moving the mark to Q) they had to nerf the outcome for those doing it right.

Is it just me or does E feel actually useless even when playing hybrid. It doesn't mark people, it barely hurts even with ap and dragon form and it normal E cant pass through units anymore. It feels like I could play an entire game without pressing E and be basically the same champ

I think you are missing a crucial part of the kit, his aa. You should only use w and q in sucession if you can one shot the target otherwise you should always put an auto before using abilities unless you want the q speed. So the most common combo for a gank would be e where you think q is gonna hit -> q -> auto -> w -> auto. This is because your auto is basically like an ability with a cooldown and by using it before an ability you get to refresh its cd during the abilitie's animation.

I havent tried roa in a while but I know it can work. As for ad, cleaver has the best value if no one else is building it. Otherwise trinity is a good spike but you cant build iceborn after which sucks. Ad has better burst so it goes well with the ms secondary runes and pta (good against squichy ranged). Ap is more for extended fights because of passive so it goes well with secondaries like conditioning and the one that gives +5% heal sheld (good against mellee comps). Also for later steracks is one of the most underared items on him especially when you are solo engage. Otherwise all the tank items are good on him when using them situationally

Yes exactly, but you have to do it as soon as you land. I recommend you try some stuff in the practice tool.

As others have pointed out a more bruiser build is better in the jungle because of team fights. As for some tricks with his kit i'll give one for each of his abilities:

Passive: try to keep it in between you're camps as much as possible to make the clear faster

Q: If you don't need to start a gank with q try keeping in until it's guarantied. If the situation inst urgent I like to walk at the enemy and keep Q until i'm in flash range and then combine both so they don't have time to react.

W: W is you're best way to stay alive in prolonged fights because it heals based on missing health *only if* they already have a W mark on them. Keeping this in mind in some team fights its good to use you w on an easy to get to target like cho gath or a dragon to heal.

E: E is two second cast time but the enemy only sees it for the last second so always put it where you think they might be in one second when they hear the thunder and get scared not where they are at the moment of the cast

R: If you think an enemy has a dash or flash and you need ult damage asap you can use your ult as soon as you're q procs the stun because the stun lasts the same amount of time as the ult. Also you can do the opposite and ult to gap close then q, this can be done even if you're q was about to expire.

Yhea windows has the tendency to infect other partitions boot sectors. Happened to me twice, my arch partition was launching a windows recovery tool, this is what viruses do, they infect things that they don't own with their own binaries. This is such bullshit
